Anyway, I'd be down with another pirate game, or series a, from them. I really enjoyed the Naval aspects of Black Flag, and I hear it's much improved in Rogue. Just don't understand why they insist on throwing everything under the AC mantle at this point. That might nab more sales short term because of the name, but longterm it brings about AC fatigue sooner from consumers, so it would behoove them to separate these things into actual different IPs, even if they do have many similarities.

On a side note. I question what Ubi is doing with AC as a whole as it concerns the plot. It used to always be that the Templars were about order by any means, and Assassin's about freedom no matter the cost. Now, having played Unity, and from what my friend told me about Rogue I feel like the two factions are suddenly all over the place for the simple sake of Ubi's convenience in coming up with a story for any given game. Pretty lame

I speak Portuguese but I'm not one. I traveled to a lot of places and I can tell you that Futsal is uber popular.

In Africa, Europe, S.America, Middle-East, etc...

Portugal, Spain, Italy.. all share the taste in sports.

That's not true, in countries like Germany or UK, Futsal is pretty non-existent as much as I know (at least Germany is correct since I am German and never heard about it in UK). It is huge in South America and also some kind of big in South and Eastern Europe but in the biggest gaming markets Futsal is very very small as much as I know.

There are obviously people who play it here but that doesn't mean that people would buy such a game or are interested in it as a sport they watch on TV. There are also many who play Badminton here and nobody would buy such a  game or watch it on TV except for a few people. Never confuse the amount of people who exercise a sport with the amount who are so interested in it that they would buy a game about it. There are many who buy Football games because of Real Madrid, Manchester and other clubs, I doubt there are many who would buy Futsal games because of specific Futsal clubs like Jaragua in the game. 

We are talking about a sport which may have many players around the world but which is most successful in smaller gaming markets (ok Brazil is kind of big) and which doesn't have the huge clubs known around the world which can sell games on their own so that you have two big factors which are the reason for the big Fifa sales which wouldn't work for Futsal.

It's prety much like with Handball which is also huge in some countries (Germany, France, many Eastern European countries as example) but there is no Handball game (or at least no good game).

I think it would be more logical to get such a licence for a console manufacturer since it can give you a big advantage in the smaller gaming markets if people would buy your instead of another console only because of a Futsal franchise. 

So, yeah, I think it wouldn't be bad for Microsoft to work on such a franchise but it's not really needed for Ubisoft and the likes. Game would be probably not profitable for MS but some people would buy an Xbox instead of a PS because of it and that would also increase other game sales and make the brand as a whole more popular in these countries (it's also pretty much the markets where MS needs to do something)
