The best news from that Ubisoft call is that they confirmed The Division is still coming this year. That is probably my 2nd most anticipated game, I can't wait to see that snow drop engine.

So, yeah, I think it wouldn't be bad for Microsoft to work on such a franchise but it's not really needed for Ubisoft and the likes. 

Biggest market for Fifa are Europe and US. In both of those continents, Futsal is popular.

Comparing Badminton and Handball to Futsal, makes me think you're not familiar with the latter. And England does have a national team and a league managed by the FA. They were just late to the game.

There is a world cup for Futsal that envolves countries from all continents.

Or you aren't familar with Handball and underestimate how big it is in many countries just because nobody cares about it in your country.

I know all what you said, that's why I wrote my huge text (which got bigger at the time you quoted me (after I came back from toilet lol) so that there is stuff you didn't quote)

I never said nobody plays it or that a country like UK doesn't have a national team (they also have national teams for 500 other sports), I said there are not many who will buy such a game around the world. There are no Futsal clubs which will help to increase the sales dramatically (Fifa without all the huge clubs like Manchester would also sell much less and now tell me the most popular Futsal clubs and how many people would buy a game for them) and just because many play it in real life does also not mean that they would also buy it as a game. 

And no idea why you even mention the world cup involving countries from all continents, that's the case for so many other sports as well except maybe from a continet where there are only a few million consoles sold, that means pretty much nothing. 

But after all I agree with you that there should be a Futsal game but not from a company like Ubisoft to make money with it but from MS if MS wants to have a good reason for some people to buy an XB instead of a PS in some for MS smaller markets. Many markets where MS is behind Sony are markets where Futsal is popular and some of these markets grow a lot in gaming.

I'm pretty sure Badminton is the most played sport in the enitre world (or at least fastest growing, one or the other), yet that doesn't have a game....

Edit: Oh and I am a big football fan, but I think of Futsal as that sport which Brazillians play. No other country really comes to mind other than Brazil when thinking Futsal.

What? Most sport complex here in the US (Maryland, Massachusets, New Jersey, New York) have at least a futsal court. With astroturf or woodfloor.

Let me tell you everywhere I know where futsal is famous: Portugal, Senegal, Cape Verde, Kuwait and all of Northern Africa. I saw with my own eyes.

Now, japan and Korea are also very active, especially Japan being one o the best in the world.

Is there a African Badminton national team? Besides probably, S.Africa?

Still no idea where I ever said that. Yes Futsal or in some countries some kind of indoor soccer with different rules (which is more popular in Germany as Futsal) is one of the most played sports on this planet. So is some other sport which is played by many but doesn't interest many as sport on TV or would interest as game in countries where it makes sense for a company like Ubisoft as game developer.
