RK is manga, it got adapted to anime later on tho. Not all arcs btw.

yeah i know all opinions are subjective and there isnt a right one. but i just thought you were giving off the feeling that you thought wrpg's have no soul and that was a universal truth. Not about fun. And btw, I have no hard feelings and wasn't upset or anything. I don't really see the point in doing so(thread posts are opinions after all), but some people get mad when I don't.

Maybe you could help me out. I'm interested in MKX, but the only game from them I ever played was Injustice, and that just didn't seem to have a very good flow to the fighting too me. Do you know if MK plays similar to that? I don't play too many fighting games so I'm not exactly pro at them, but when I play say Killer Instinct, Dead or Alive, or Soul Calibur with some buddies the fights just have a good rhythm you know. There's no problem chaining moves together, and the action just has a great pace. Playing Injustice from the MK devs....that was definitely not the case.

manga are the comics. anime are the shows. If a manga gets popular enough, an anime is usually made for it.

What's interesting to me is that I have absolutely no middle ground with Japanese games. I either love them or loathe them (mostly the latter). There's never one that I think is just ok, or decent.

Virtua Fighter, Ace Combat (6 is my favorite), Platinum Games and some Nintendo titles are as far as I go.

You don't like ninja Gaiden? Is that possible xD. And for some reason I don't consider  Mario and sonic Japanese type games  lol

I prefer Japanese over Western. I'm not even sure why though as I feel Japanese games sometimes feel stuck in the past with game play elements. Could just be a preference of mine. Looking forward to most of the mid, to big Japanese games coming out on all three platforms.

Only real Western RPG I'd get hyped for would be like ES 6, or if they brought back KoAR. I'd count Mass Effect, but that' more TPS/RPG hybrid.
