What about Tales of Tiago? Getting late for me, so I might have missed it.

I prefer Japanese over Western. I'm not even sure why though as I feel Japanese games sometimes feel stuck in the past with game play elements. Could just be a preference of mine. Looking forward to most of the mid, to big Japanese games coming out on all three platforms.

Only real Western RPG I'd get hyped for would be like ES 6, or if they brought back KoAR. I'd count Mass Effect, but that' more TPS/RPG hybrid.

"Various jrpgs", not something I lose my head over. Same formula over and over, dull stories. :p Still, it's fun to play so I like it.

I can actually understand that, I mean I feel like sometimes they use the same type of political story over and over again, I do like the gameplay though. Lot of JRPGs do have their faults, kind of annoys me when you have its fans just clamour over how perfect they are when they aren't even close to that.

This is coming from someone who's favorite genre is JRPGs as well.

Your posts have been interesting to read. I wish I could get into JRPGs and broaden my gaming taste.
Maybe with time that can happen but for now it's time to catch some Zs.
Good night fellas.

Yup. While I love the genre, there aren't many games that I found amazing.

Last gen only lost odyssey was close to perfect, it was such a powerful experience. It had everything that I search in the genre, great characters, story, ost and turn based gameplay.

Also liked Birth by sleep quite a lot, my favorite Kingdom Hearts, but that was a portable game.

Only played the persona series when it came to psp, but those were ports (P1-3), I like the evolution that the series saw with P2->3. 3 was amazing, dark city high school story (I like high school settings 'cause anime). Also had that amazing evoke. P4 wasn't that great, worse story, setting and characters (rise was great tho). P5 seems closer to 3 than 4... Even if I find that thief setting stupid..

Why are Xbox One achievements so glitchy? The 360 didn't have this many glitches.

Indeed, so annoying.

Already had some games glitching on me, 360 only one time.

So far Dead Rising 3 I've ran into a prob with the medals achievement. Should of had 3 achievements unlocked from it.

What's interesting to me is that I have absolutely no middle ground with Japanese games. I either love them or loathe them (mostly the latter). There's never one that I think is just ok, or decent.

Would mgs be considered a Japanese game?

Made in Japan by Japanese devs= japanese game. Fact.

Not if the game has nothing to do with Japan. It can be a western game made in Japan. Now that's a fact!
