I like jrpgs. I absolutely hate girls squeking in any japanese media but i just try to ignore it as best as possible. The same type of hair do? Although thats partially true i like the hair do a lot :P. You can never have too much of anything related to dragonball. Also i like anime too so yeah that doesnt bother me. But i love Wrpgs much more then jrpgs.

WRPGs do yeah, that's why I can't play more than 10 minutes before dropping them. 

SO does, indeed(lack it). For some reason I won't buy more, 7.8 would be enough if it had it.

Gears is fun, but doesn't have much soul either. And is my favorite ip.

just  bescause a game isnt that enjoyable to you doesnt mean it doesnt have soul. Maybe we have different definitions of soul? I think sunset overdrive has lot of soul put into it. You arent the sole decider of what is fun so it doesnt matter if you cant put 10 minutes into wrpgs. that has nothting to do with soul. There are some things I dislike on anime, anime games.

Tsundere type of girls, which is the most popular one. But I can't stand them as of late. Those are usually the squeaky girls.

And the English VA are usually terrible, not always, which makes the voices hard to listen to. 

Commenting on the wrpg's compared to jrpg's. The real distinguish I have between the two is the more serious, gritty tone for wrpg's and the more quirkiness of jrpg's. Both are good in their own way.

Omen was released couple of days ago. And he's fun.
I like MK but it's gameplay is not as hectic as Killer's. I grew up on MK2 and 3.
To me those were the best, specially MK3 with running.
