I honestly couldn't get into fallout 3.
Don't know why, just got a bit bored.
Loved skyrim though, aside from the mediocre combat mechanics.

Same for me. Fallout is just a bit too dreary for me. I mean it's a post apocalyptic world, I get it, but staring at that much brown, grey, and dead for hours on an end just puts me off tbh.

Never played fallout 3 but loved the idea. Fallout 4 improved technically and with the creases ironed out could be a great introduction to the series for me.

Evolve 83 Metacritic so far - http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/evolve

Not bad for Evolve, mid 80's this gen is 90+ last gen.

Anyone getting this besides me?

Good luck Dex. I've had surgery twice and honestly with that anesthesia it was the best sleep I've ever had lol. Good luck again

Counting just the times I've been under anesthesia, this is probably like the 100th time xD

I've had around 60 major operations in my life and then a bunch of small ones like today. The sleep is great but I always get headaches after I wake up and I used to vomit a lot too when I was younger.

This vomit part I remember going through an operation during the June of 2014 while the sleep was good not the best but I also experienced the same feeling the one Dex used to when he was younger it was not easy to get down from the stairs, headache but everything was solved after I vomitted xD.

I have some question for you folks. There is a lot of JRPG talk here and that got me wondering:
-How can you cope with girls squeaking on this genre? It drives me crazy.
-Whats up with everybody having the same type of hair do? Dragon Ball type or Lost Odyssey type.
-The overly similar Anime approach of presentation, etc...

I'm not bashing the genre, I just want to read your views on those topics.
I used to be a Pokemon head back in the days and a fan of turn based combat; today I can't stand the latter.

My dream exclusives for xbox one: blue dragon 2 or lost odyssey 2.

if either of those happen, I'll be so, so happy.  not to mention that they'll win over a number of people if that happens, especially in japan.  they really can't go on in japan at this state.

It's just different tastes man. People like different things. I'm not overly fond of most JRPGs (or really Japanese games in general) either, in part for reasons you mentioned, and also because of their extremely stereotyped characters that just aren't believable or relatable on any level, but just the same there are people who will like them for those things, not in spite of them.

I know. I like Fifa and it's one of the most hated IPs here on VGC.

I can tell you why I love it. So I wanted to hear why JRPG lovers, love stuff I hate on their loved genre.

Again, I'm just curious.

I'm not sure if I thanked everyone earlier, these meds are kicking white ass but yeah. Thanks everyone for the happy thoughts! Appreciate you all!

Soul, western games lack soul.

For the record, FF15 also does.

Very untrue. Tons of western games have soul. thats just a stupid sterotype of "generic shooters". Youre saying sunset overdrive, mass effect, witcher 3, tlou, gears and many others lack soul?
