Made in Japan by Japanese devs= japanese game. Fact.

Not if the game has nothing to do with Japan. It can be a western game made in Japan. Now that's a fact!

It's still japanese, look at RES6. Made with western in mind, by japonese devs.

Fifa and PES are both football games, but one is by western devs, other by Japanese hence a JP game.

Same with GT vs forza.

Why are Xbox One achievements so glitchy? The 360 didn't have this many glitches.

Indeed, so annoying.

Already had some games glitching on me, 360 only one time.

On the 360 I only had one achievement gltich for me. But on the X1 some don't unlock and i have to replay things to get them. Its just so annoying. And its not just achievements but the entire system feels glitchy.

Like when the game sometimes shuts down on it's own. I hate that.

I think we are confusing two terms Japanese games are more of a genre nowadays such as JRPGS and WRPGS whether a Western developer or Japanese developer has the option if he/she needs to make a japanese game or a western game. What I mean to say is games developed by Japanese people will be called a game by Japanese studios or etc... whereas if that same team develops a western game it will be called a western game from the game's perspective and a Japanese game if we look into the background of team. So basically a western game can be developed by Japanese studios whether it is Japanese or not depends the way you look at it. IMO if a game does not takes any influence from Japan or Japanese culture it wont be called a Japanese game but a game developed by Japanese. Same is the situation with Western World a western developer can make a Japanese game and it will be called a Japanese game but made by Western world.

I've lost all interest in KI now that MKX hype is ramping up :(

Think I played 1 match with Riptor, has anyone else come out since?

Maybe you could help me out. I'm interested in MKX, but the only game from them I ever played was Injustice, and that just didn't seem to have a very good flow to the fighting too me. Do you know if MK plays similar to that? I don't play too many fighting games so I'm not exactly pro at them, but when I play say Killer Instinct, Dead or Alive, or Soul Calibur with some buddies the fights just have a good rhythm you know. There's no problem chaining moves together, and the action just has a great pace. Playing Injustice from the MK devs....that was definitely not the case.

I've not played Injustice so can't comment, what I do know is that MK gameplay is known to be a bit clunky and not as fast paced as KI, SF ect.

With all that said it looks a LOT better this time around.  There are some rumours there will be a demo for MKX.

What's interesting to me is that I have absolutely no middle ground with Japanese games. I either love them or loathe them (mostly the latter). There's never one that I think is just ok, or decent.

Would mgs be considered a Japanese game?

Yes. Love 1, hate 2, love 3 to death, strongly dislike 4, massively hyped for Phantom Pain lol

I actually love them all including peace walker!  But I understand your (phantom)  pain.

35k woot.

I am not familiar with Metal Gear Solid Franchise never played it. Is it more like Splinter Cell where stealth is your weapon or is it guns blazing or a mix of two like Splinter Cell Blacklist.
