The sooner I can get my hands back on Halo 5 the better. Having serious withdrawal issues since the beta went down.

I have to agree.

Having played Halo 5, I really don't like old-school Halo anymore.  I mean, it's still fun and all for the memories, but the mp for the old Halo games feels incredibly static compared to what I played in the beta.  And with all of those changes happening to the game post feedback, I'm really pumped for the final game.

Don't you dare say that on halowaypoint lol, but I agree. Halo 5 just felt right to me, I wasn't even good and had a blast.

+1 to everything you just said

I really applaud 343 being brave enough to move Halo forward instead of doing the simple thing and just making Halo 2/3 with new graphics

Speaking of Halo, does anyone think 16 v 16 Big Team will be revealed at E3?

I hate visiting waypoint.

Such a cesspool of haters over there.  The Halo reddit page is a bit better though.

HALO 5: GUARDIANS RELEASE DATE IN AUGUST? 3 REASONS WHY IT WOULD MAKE SENSE

An Amazon page says ‘The Art of Halo 5: Guardians’ is releasing on August 11, 2015. Could this also be a release date for Halo 5: Guardians? It makes sense.

Team Beyond spotted ‘The Art of Halo 5: Guardians’ on Amazon earlier today. The online retailer says the art book is releasing on August 11, 2015. Here’s a part of the description for the art book.

This deluxe art book chronicles the creative and breathtaking art of the worlds, vehicles, and characters of Halo 5: Guardians, with exclusive details behind the creation of returning characters, such as the Arbiter and the Master Chief himself. Complete with commentary from 343 Industries, The Art of Halo 5: Guardians is the ultimate exploration of the intricate creature design and groundbreaking gameplay that define the Halo experience.

Could this be a Halo 5: Guardians release date?

It makes sense, and I’ll highlight a few reasons why below.

Art Book Spoilers

It wouldn’t be smart to release an art book ahead of Halo 5: Guardians. It’s bound to be packed with spoilers from various parts of the game. Team Beyond notes that the Halo 4 Art Book released alongside Halo 4 back in November 2012.

There Is Precedent

Halo 3, Halo: ODST and Halo Reach released in September. Traditionally, publishers save their biggest titles for November. But, there is always titles that get lost in the shuffle. Microsoft can avoid this and dominate sales for months by releasing it ahead of the holiday season.

Avoiding Call of Duty and Battlefront

By releasing in August, Microsoft can avoid Call of Duty: Black Ops 3(?) and Star Wars: Battlefront. There will always be a market for Halo, but by releasing in August – Microsoft can grab shooter fans looking for their latest fix. Competing with Call of Duty is never a good idea for other shooters.

At the end of the day, this is all speculation. Amazon’s release date for the art book could just be a placeholder. Still, I think it makes sense and it’s a release date Microsoft has to be considering. Plus, the quicker I can play the full game – the better. We will know for sure at Microsoft’s E3 conference in June.

What do you think? Does releasing Halo 5: Guardians in August make sense? Or, should Microsoft hold off until November?

We also have confirmation that the Art Book will have spoilers from Josh Holmes

There's precedent for this as well. The Halo 4 artbook released the same day as the game due to spoilers. Can't say for sure it'll happen, but there is reason to believe it may.

Exploring The New Setting Of Rise Of The Tomb Raider

Stepping up from his role as art director for the last entry, Brian Horton is now the game director on Rise of the Tomb Raider and is paying a lot of attention to the look of Lara Croft's new environment. Rise of the Tomb Raider takes players to Russia as Lara seeks a long-lost city and answers about the existence of the immortal soul. The new setting means new animals to hunt, new challenges to overcome, and new tech that the team had to create to make the world believable.

Watch the video interview below to learn more about the new world/worlds you'll explore and why wolves are always so hungry for tomb raiders.

those "guardians" sound so wicked.

and tracking the animals with their tracks in the snow + new weather system...   so excited.

You don't like ninja Gaiden? Is that possible xD. And for some reason I don't consider  Mario and sonic Japanese type games  lol

I like the characters from Ninja Gaiden because they're in Dead Or Alive, but I don't like Ninja Gaiden itself. I bought the first 3D Ninja Gaiden on the original Xbox and the high level of difficulty scared me away from the series ever since. I think I tried the demo for Ninja Gaiden 2 as well, didn't like it either.

Ninja Gaiden is amazing. I never thought it was a hard series besides for this one moment in ninja Gaiden 2 with this boss. Had to quit the game for like 6 months out of anger xD, after I played it again it was relatively easy though lol
