I played a little Halo 3 on MCC after the early access to the Halo 5 beta ended.......felt like I was playing something from the stone age.

As a Xbox gamer that isn't noteworthy to me, I couldn't care less if I play with pc gamers or not. :p

I think it is going to xbox one games on windows 10. Why I say that, the xbox app and more importantly, the smartglass app for pc gamers that a job listing showed on msft job site.

And oh, halo 5 being a times exclusive.

no idea how cross-platform gaming and so on should be managed and if it would be fair multiplayer matches then in some games and I also doubt that we will get such an eco-system where all Xbox games will work with a PC as long as you get Xbox for Windows 10 or whatever they would call it but it would be definitely fun to see all the threads complaining about how XBO wouldn't have any exclusives anymore and that there wouldn't be any reason to buy one.

It might be true that many wouldn't need an XBO anymore but that would be unimportant since you would still need to be part of "Xbox" to play these games and if XBO would sell 50m or 100m wouldn't change anything for the users of an XBO if the whole eco-system would reach the same or an even bigger userbase with the combination of XBO and Xbox on PC. Otherwise MS would obviously also not do it if they couldn't get the same or even more games and players on Xbox

But like I said, I doubt that this is what they will do.

@SeanJohn004 We haven't announced a new Gears but we aren't spending a lot of time focusing on 3D in our first party games right now.
