So we will see far more 60fps games on the PS4 than on the One?

when?

Drive club and Forza disagree. KIllzone is saying nothing.

Someone here laughed his ass off and told me that it would be pathetic if driving games arent 60fps in the next gen... he was a PS4 fan responding to the Forza confirmation of 60fps you see....

alas drive club has let him down already.

That's what  dev said, and so that is where I got it from.  You do understand they can make it look far worse to keep the 60FPS right?  God I can't wait for the comparison videos in about a year...

Excuses. Why arent killzone and drive club 60 fps? 1st party, plenty of dev time.

By that logic, why isn't every game announced for the Xbox One running at 60 fps? There are games that ran on PS360 at 1080p 60fps, so Xbox One should have no problem right?

Im not the one claiming anything there.  I am merely poitning out the current facts.

No, Captain_Tom clearly stated some facts.  You continue to make silly comments that have no real point to them.  It's like your melting down in the face of reality.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

Seems like Forza 5 is not holding 60fps constants too... some guy in B3D get two random samples in the gameplay video and get 57 and 54 fps.

http://forum.beyond3d.com/showpost.php?p=1765069&postcount=151

He did get a bigger sample after (5 seconds) and got these resultads.

300 frames, 17 duplicates
283 distinct frames, with a result of ~ 56.6 frames per second over this 5 second period

http://forum.beyond3d.com/showpost.php?p=1765290&postcount=161

It is not a big deal... just different from Forza 4 that have a fixed framerate... here it is more dynamic in this alpha code.

On a side note, I just think the main problem with this website is people making wild statements when they are not seasoned developers with the knowledge to make such assumptions.

And people gather, back and forth, in discussions about what is what, and no one knows shit for real. That's how a community gets derailed, fanboys gather up, and stupid arguments begin.

To prove the title of this thread, and write a compeeling and credible opinion, the OP needed to have access to and fully understand both system's hardware and working environments and being able to justify mathematically what makes a system better than the other.

This thread shortened sounds like this:

"Ok, lets see what wikipedia says about a single component of this entire hardware, the GPU. Nothing else weights any significant ammount of importance to be considered, because: internet gaming forums."

"See ? This numbers bigger in here, smaller in there. There is some yockels, and fowckelrs, some sneivlers too, thats it. 2x more graphics."

missing the point.... again.

the ps4 is "twice as powerful". Why cant it handle dynamic lighting at 60fps?

its a beast... a powerhouse, its TWICE as powerful as the ONE.

BF4 says high.

Not the best example, BF4 will run in 720p for next-gen consoles.

Drive Club isn't Gran Turismo 7. When GT 7 releases, we'll see why someone here never laughed his ass off without a reason.

EDIT: I do prefer closed track games competing with each other. 60 FPS do matter a lot!  30 FPS  does make sense in an open world racing game.

Wikipedia?  It wasn't used once.  I also have a lot of experience with the 7000 series and can back up everything he says.  If you don't understand, then don't talk.  Just because you don't, doesn't mean everyone doesn't...

No it's in 1080p at 60 FPS.

On PC at least... on consoles 720p.

Nothing confirmed yet BTW.

Apparently Eddie knows all.  Following his comments on just about everyone's posts, he shows that every detail of each consloes system and internal design have been given to him and the Captain.  These two "Professional hardware designers" have deemed the power of both new consoles and only their opinions can be heard.

Obviously Eddie, you can only know what is readily available to the public, which is really nothing.  Don't bother to tell us how much experience you and Captain Tom have with the 7000 series cards, as it really isn't relevent.  Unless you participated in the design of both the PS4 and XBone, you only have uninformed opinions like everyone else.

Exactly I do only know what is readily available to the public about next gen's hardware.  However if you understand GPU architecture at even a rudementary level, you will be able to predict how much stronger the PS4 is than the Xbox One.  I just have to say two things:

1) Obviously I may not be 100% correct to a decimal point, but it is obvious that the PS4 is well above 50% stronger than the X1.  It is between 55-100% more power.

2) Before righting everything someone says off, have you ever considered reading it and making an informed response (Probably not since this is VGchartz)?  The numbers add up and come from, as you said: "What is readily available to the public."  So then since it is, look it up and say something once you can.  But just saying "I don't get it, so theirs no way he can too!" is childish.
