Forums - Gaming - EA: Next Tablets Will Have Nearly PS360-Quality Graphics

Every year they says that... every year I get a game on tablet and it is way behind PS360 in graphics.

..it's going pretty fast.. the PS VIta is on mobile tech and the current gen Power VR series 5 gives impressive visuals

Power VR series 6 aka next gen will be even better

I guess a Wii U is a better buy than this.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

It is not impressive and not close to PS360... this pick is PS2/Xbon/GC level.

Power VR series 6 won't be too.

a decent tablet experience and a controller link = the final nail in the handheld coffin.

Compare it to early this gen and it's not far off. Remember these chips are still not equal to PS3/360 but they're already getting close in terms of visual effects/features.

Actually you are right.  It's already happened.

This is probably closer to the truth. The current generation of kids won't grow up playing on a 3DS or Vita but are getting accustomed to touch interfaces on iOS and Android devices for their portable gaming fix.

Older or more established gamers may lament the absence of buttons (and some devices/add-ons may address this), but as developers build games around touch and kids grow up using touch screens the majority will cease to care.

Some of the Windows 8 tablets are already there.

Yup. The 3DS is DEAD... ... ... not.

I would like to connect a ps3 or xbox 360 controller to a tablet. Why can't with do that with windows tablets? I would really like to play arcade games on a tablet using my xbox controller.
