Forums - General Discussion - Police arrest man filming raid.. shoots his dog death..

I wonder what had happened if the windows of the car were shut. They were about to take that man away, who knows how long the dog would have been in there.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Not sure why they arrested him or handcuffed I mean but the guy was literally asking for trouble since he went right up to them and was recording it/taking pics. Should of known better especially from the way the police acts.

Edit: Saw the last part again, that last cop who was near the dog was an idiot, why did he engage it lol. He was looking for a reason to shoot it. If anything he should be the one that should get the blame.

Although what the last cop did was dumb, the dog lunged at him so his reaction afterwards was based on instinct - wouldnt you react the same way (i.e. attack back) if you thought you were gonna get attacked?

I'm sorry for animal lovers who may feel offended but if I was in that situation, I would rather shoot the dog than get myself or my team mates hurt.

I wouldn't use deadly force. Its a dog, acting on instict, and it had a leash on they could of grabbed. it didn't lunge for his throat, it wasn't acting overly aggressive, just trying to help his owner. the cops should have been ready for the dog knowing the owner just had one and the car windows were open. if they cant pay attention to that kind of stuff they shouldn't be on the force.

the cops would have either had to sit there with the dog and wait for somebody to come pick up the dog that the guy had called or take the dog with them and drop it off at the pound or something.  They aren't allowed to leave an animal like that unattended if they arrest the owner.

Not surprising considering it is USA.

And now they are fucking up with the french, belgian and chinese by spying on them and making news outlets so happy to report it. That's a really cool idea.

I saw a couple days ago a kid that got jailed by chatting rubbish talk on videogame.

This is not police brutality. The guy was purposefully trying to be an obstacle to the cops. Had he left when they had enough and put his dog car, nothing would have happened. How he put dog in car and continued to be an ass. Then his dog jumps out and clearly jumps at the officer. They had no choice at that point. Its sad, but its the owners fault.

A dog jumps around a little and the police must shoot immediately? That police is a sorry excuse or a man. He even leaned toward the dog, trying to grab its leash or something. Then the dog jumps up by reflex, but even restrains itself from actually touching the man, and yet he shoots.

Such unprofessional and cowardly behaviour. That fuckface will burn in hell.

I couldn't really tell for sure but I think they pepper sprayed the dog first. They tried the non-lethal method. I'll watch the video again to be sure.

pepper spraying an animal will not get it to calm down. that is just absurd. especially dogs that are even more sensitive to that kind of stuff. This is a dog not  aperson. they should of grabbed the leash. that is the smartest easiest thing to do. after that they could of grabbed the scruff of his neck, or simply put it in a headlock or get on its back. they really did not need to shoot it. they also didnt need to arrest the guy in the first place. they failed all over the place. than k god for cameras and social media, the only two things that can hold cops acountable. Its no wonder they are not fans of being filmed, and will even try and say a cell phone is a weapon just to confiscate film. Does not make me trust my law enforcement one bit.

Unprofessional cops meets provocative fool.

Unfortunate event all around.

He should have just left because they were in the middle of a hostage situation and he was interfering with it, they gave him plenty of warnings and dog being shot is just a consequence of a foolish owner. I don't mind cops even though they pull me over constantly and annoy me but I have to say they were not completely wrong.

Keep your cool, that's what you do in an unexpected situation like this.

Cops out on the field should be trained to handle unexpected situations and they meet them constantly.

Stay fucking calm and don't do anything rash like a random moron.

This little wussy was so afraid of a dog bite that he failed his professionalism, and obviously he doesn't care for animals or humans.

So damn embarrassing to see two white cops draw their weapons and point at an innocent animal when they have the poor dog owner cuffed. Such rolemodels and heroes or our kids to take after.
