I heard costumes in this game act like classes. Does this mean you'll get a unique skill loadout with this or is it purely aesthetic?
OH Lightning looks fantastic in that outfit, many would be pre-ordering it for that, especially if the ending tune is included.

Seriously? It was at a lower resolution (1024x576 instead of 720p on PS3), lower every graphical measurement. Those things aren't so bad, but the game itself was missing assets. They remove pieces of the background and levels to make it easier to run. We also know that they compressed the game enormously to fit the 360. (PS3 version was 38GB and the 360 version was at most 24GB. It's actually less than that because you have to repeat assets across all discs.)
I meant my comment mostly tongue-in-cheek, but the 360 port of FF13 was just awful and no one should have played that version of such a pretty game.

I actually think Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII was a great name because it gave us this joke:

I don't understand... :/
Square is as Square does
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

I second that
Honestly, i would pre-order it just for the ending tune o_o
And the outfit looks pretty neat. Also, boobies.
Thats a low blow squeenix.
They are definitly trying to make lightning less of a failure every day.
