Forums - General - I'm about to get into my first real fight. UPDATE: he came to my house and surprised me.

Ya you need to defend yourself if attacked, but don't go looking for it, and just cause he's talking crap doesn't mean you have to respond.

Be the man and walk away if he gives you now choice try not to get hurt or do anything you might regret.

Let him know she choose you and if he looks to beat up every Ex's new boyfriend that might be why he's an ex in the first place.

then again at what age are we talking you'll both have many more not so serous relationships why get so worked up?

Ask him whats his favorite video game is if it sucks then kick his butt you'll have a better reason. just kidding.

Instead of fighting try to defend yourself. There is a difference, despite what a lot stupid and ignorant people out there say; who like to not only blame people who do hurt others, but also to those who are simply trying to protect themselves.

The only way you get out of this is if he's the one who is seen causing all the trouble by making him get overzealous and stupid. Cause if you and the dude start wailing/wrestling each other (like a lot of fights end up in), then you're not going anywhere with the situation and you'll both be blamed for the fight.

Like I said defending yourself is a better solution than trying to beat him up. Calling the cops (like others suggested) is a better solution, but with the way today's schools are teaching these kids (and its a fricken crime IMO) they have to understand that there's not always an adult (or in this case a cop) around and defending yourself would be your best option.

In the end if it does goes down let him throw the first punch (while defending yourself of course) this way you can have something for the cop so that he can make an arrest afterwards.

He's threatening you; might as well take advantage of it.

Work on your jab, seriously. The jab is the most effective and under utilized form of punching there is. It has the longest range, is the quickest and while it's not the most damaging strike, the fact that it's bare knuckle means that it'll still hurt alot. Aim for his nose. The fact that it's a "street fight" means that he won't see it coming because usually people only throw hooks and or grapple.

Here is another fight compilation filled with knockouts

My goal is to make you realize that YOU DON'T want to let yourself get knocked out or choked out because a person can do anything to you while your "out"

Sounds like hes just trying to be act like a big man next time he see's you he wont do a thing.

Let him beat you, make sure you have a camera ready. Afterwards, sue him. He will have to pay so hard, it's gonna hurt him much more than anything you could do physically to him.

Just so you know, don't take this post serious.  Fight Club's message was never about fighting.  It was about living in the moment.  You really shouldn't fight unless it is actual sport with rules etc.

Weren't you the guy who got beat up by a fat kid?

The fuck?

Go cheap. Eye gouge, nut shot, anything to take the advantage. Only fight I ever got into I eye gouged the mother fucker. He then got a dislocated shoulder. Lets just say he and his "friends" lost the dorm room brawl.
