Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Fed Up With Inaccurate Reports In The Media

I am also fed up, to be completely honest. Quite burnt out on it too.

The gaming media serves the gaming industry.

It's no surprise that big sites like IGN get rid of their Nintendo supporting journalists.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Did I miss something? When did IGN "get rid of their Nintendo supporting journalists?"

I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.

Story of media bias:

XB1 has insane DRM policies? Basically ignored by IGN and Gameinformer.

Nintendo opts to have a billion booths and a Nintendo Direct instead of an E3 Press conference? Atoms unravel.

Audrey Drake (pretty much the only editor positive towards Nintendo there) left IGN for a job at...Nintendo :D

Yeah, that's what I figured he meant, but it didn't make any sense.

She wasn't fired, she left because she had a job lined up at Nintendo.

Not Audrey. She was the last of the Nintendo team. the others left years ago.

Okay. Well, now that I know who it isn't, can you tell me who it is?

All I remember is that lots of IGN's Nintendo team left Nintendo, I think in 2010 or 2009.

^Yeah you're right, I remember Cassamasina and Bozon leaving ign in short time distance between the two. Hell I don't even know if IGN has Nintendo team any more. And the ones they've had weren't all that good.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
