I voted no,Not everyone is going to jump straight to the ps4. I don't plan on getting a ps4 anytime soon. I apperciate the support on the ps3.

IDK was my answer.....it all depends on if their new exclusives, and lesser known titles can carry the PS4 for the first year or so.

If gamers have any common sense, they'll see the way Sony has supported the PS3 and realize just how much support PS4 will get whereas MS has kind of forgotten the 360 and it hopefully will hurt them going into next gen. The fact that Sony can still compete with MS when still supporting PS3 in this way (and to some extent although much less -> The Vita) is rather insane.

Nope, Sony just gave us sequels to look forward to next time around. They need to profit off of the last phase of the cycle. It would be dumb to throw away all of your best games in the first two years of the cycle. Let some new IP's come to create a bedding for the old.

Just GT6 and delayed Driveclub to Q2 2014. GT6 is a big system seller and Driveclub seems rushed. LoU is a great swan song for PS3 along with Puppeteer, Sly 4 (though they f'd up advertising), and even Beyond. I don't think GoW:A should have ever happened. They should have made a GoW: Norse for PS4 (would have taken a little longer anyway) for 2014 with a new character and obviously norse mythology. While I had a great time with the new gameplay elements of Ascension the story felt stretched and they could have gotten the 2 best things from it (gameplay and MP) into a reboot on PS4. Now we have to wait 3 years for a GoW and GT on PS4 which kinda sucks.

that would be amazing and a big holiday push in a critical year for systems.  Hopefully it isn't later and hopefully GoW can also manage a reboot by then.

I think it was a smart move to help continue the momentum of ps3 sales and garner support from late adopters to get the next gen console over the competition via brand appeal

I'm just glad there were more great exclusives released in the last year of the ps3. Kind of like a swan song. Though gt6 and maybe beyond should have a duel release on ps3 and 4.

Not in Japan. PSP has far better support than Vita in Japan.
