Forums - Microsoft - DigitalFoundry: X1 memory performance improved for production console/ESRAM@192 GB/s

to quite ms,
'specs are meaningless its all about the games'

and sony and nintendo decimate microsoft in that regard.

Why MS? Did they say anything official? Don't be so early to say "bullshit" only because the idiots at GAF do so, they also don't have any fucking clue what's actually in the box.

Read the article again please... it is MS telling these numbers if true (I don't how much I can believe in this article because the confuse numbers).

And forget GAF... I'm saying MS is doing PR bullshit if true... call me idiot not them (but I agre there a lot of guys that didn't know what are talking there).

PS. Did you my new rumor thread about the PS3 die shrink? I found in twitter unintentionally .

I have to confess I didn't even read the article :)

But no, I don't know of any die-shrink! Please provide details! This die-shrinking is like magic to me. We reached an insane level of die-shrinking nowadays (in general, not only ps3).  The efforts can't be appriciated enough!

Ok. so... in a simple answer is the ps4 or xbone the most powerful?

Going by raw specs it's ps4. But we don't know about system-performance because it depends on more than just specs.

Rumor: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=163740

RSX in 28nm already and Cell to 22nm next year.

A friend of a friend has just provided me with a new article that sheds a little more light o the subject:

"Well-placed and of course completely anonymous sources have provided us some more information on the recent gain in Xbox One memory specs.
Apparently, these "holes" in the eSRAM that for strange reasons nobody has ever discovered before, are actually kind of "Alice in Wonderland" rabbit holes that lead to a fascinating alternate Microsoft reality where the rules of reason etc. no longer apply and everything's different - a kind of wonderful upside-world that only die-hard Xbox enthusiasts can see.

In this alternate reality...
- Underclocking RAM modules does not reduce, but double their performance
- Radeon 7790 and Nvidia GTX 760 are "comparable hardware"
- Two people playing a game only bought once is destroying the gaming industry, but 11 people playing a game only bought once is a great idea
- "the cloud" is some kind of mysterious god. All-powerful, but not to be really understood. What it actually means and does may only be described in vague meaningless phrases and numbers. As it turns out, the less one understands it, the more powerful it actually is. If only you believe in the power of the cloud, you will be saved from inferior hardware specs.
- 5 billion transistors!

And this is just what Microsoft employees have found out about this alternate reality in the few weeks since the Xbox One reveal - it's very likely that they will discover even more fascinating facts. Preliminary data actually even suggests that the number of strange properties of this alternate Microsoft reality being discovered is in inverse proportion to Xbox One preorder numbers.

what a bad attempt...

but here is something *perhaps* more useful for the thread:

A blank space? Is that a riddle? It stand for the blank space on our cupboards that was reserved for the Xbox One but seems to stay empty, right?

I only care if MS suffered any yield issue of EsRAM...

why?  microsoft stock?

i see post after post from yah those sounding all nervous lol. its absolutely hilarious to read reddit, vgc, ng, n4g with all the pseudo intellectual regurgitation. i think microsoft is fos but i saw the dx11.2 demos from build. they crammed 36gb into 16mb so yah i think esram can handle that.

on the tiled resource demo they should mars blurred up close then super clear. now i love bf4 demo but one thing annoyed me lol.. the paint on the doors when they got close up. their was no tessalation. just look like flat blurred paint chips. now if they wouldve added this (mind blown)

Seen this on Gaf and found it funny.

So if we update the console power to DBZ level..

PS4:

XBone:

WiiU:

This news should bode well for the XOne. It still doesn't make it as fantastic as PS4 because of the unified memory pool, but should be better then we had originally anticpiated which is good. Not sure if they will hit that theoretical target though.

192gb/s (theoretical) to 32mb memory and PS4 176GB/s to 8Gigabytes of unified memory pool.

I disagree

Ps4 is kid buu

X1 is SSj3 Goku

Wiiu is yamcha

You do know SSJ3 Goku is stronger than Kid Buu, unless of course you're implying X1 is stronger than PS4.

Kid buu is stronger than SSj3 goku, unless you are talking about GT.
