I know what you're implying, and I've seen your wrangling through this thread. The downclock rumour was touched on in the Eurogamer thread but I seriously doubt that rumour to be true as MS would also have to inform devs of that as well, which would also be leaked by a reputable source. ie, not a forum or a pastebin. Without a doubt Eurogamer have been prodding their sources about that rumour, as they're aware of it and it is their business to find out.

Either way, what do you care? Will you not buy an xbox if it's been clocked down 50mhz? Or are you just derailing an xbox discussion with speculation because specs matter to you?

Specs matter for me... I like to discuss and I'm curious... and I don't believe in the downclock but the numbers in Eurogamer are bullshit.

Why do they add ESRAM and DDR3 throughputs? Shouldn't it be a weighted average, giving ESRAM its hit rate as weight?

This news should bode well for the XOne. It still doesn't make it as fantastic as PS4 because of the unified memory pool, but should be better then we had originally anticpiated which is good. Not sure if they will hit that theoretical target though.
