yes, i do. perfect machine for xbmc and emulators, it is.

Couldn't a PC handle all of those?

OT: No. It's basically a platform for playing mobile games on an HDTV, and no mobile game has ever engrossed me to the extent that I would spend that much money to play it on an HDTV.

no xbmc, emulators don't run well.

media players on par with xbmc and NES,SNES, N64, GBA, GBC, and all Sega emulators run perfectly fine - my backlog has increased like 1000% because of homebrew - that's why I said "sounds like"

No mediaplayer compares to xbmc, easy as that. And I want to have psx-emulation, also want hd-video-decoding and hdmi.

What media player runs fine on Wii? WiiMC? Because even with SD mkv stuff, it manages to lag. N64 emu is also far from perfect... though they're making strides. MK64 is a pleasure to play with a classic controller pro :D

Of course but my pc is not in my living-room, consumes too much power and also is way too big.

Thread needs a poll.

Also, no. That's ditto for any dedicated Android gaming device.

Then by all means - get yourself an Ouya, or an HDMI cable for your PC

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

You don't say? I already said I am getting one.

Wii Homebrewer here and I don't really think the emulators are good. Not that the OUYA is necessarily better, since I haven't tested it, but... yeah.

i was thinking about it for emulators but i have a softmodded wii so im ok
