So the Wii is the best selling console and the Wii U has been out for two years...



Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

You are forgetting Wii U has horrible third party support. It is strange you could even think Nintendo's holiday lineup is more impressive than all of the other consoles. No GTA 5 on Wii U just as a small example, or Gran Turismo 6. 


I meant amongst next gen consoles, I didn't include that there, my bad.

PS3 will probably still beat all home consoles this holiday IMO.

I see, I still maintain that the third party line up for the PS4 and the Bone as well as their few exclusives make them  big sellers. The preorders are high and they have that first year excitement. New Tech. The Wii U also had most of it's first party moved to 2014. So I just do not see your arguement that the Wii U can out sell either the bone or PS4 this holiday. There is stiff competition.

I currently already own one failure, with great games like Uncharted Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, Wipeout 2048, and others.  I'll be buying another failure once Super Smash Bros comes out. As long as it has good games on it that I can justify the purchase of the system, I don't care whether it's sold one million systems or one billion systems.

All that matters is the games.

Me too. Currently there is only nsmbu that i would buy, but come xmas when wind waker, donkey kong, mario 3d world, yoshi yarn that will be enough for me to bite and get the wii u. I am also hoping here in the uk the premium will drop to around £200 once the ps4 and xbox one come out.

haters gonna hate, as always. and to those saying "games were moved to 2014", the games weren't moved, they were meant to 2014. and what matters are the games wii u is getting in 2013. My predicitons for the rest of the year are as follow:

june and july really slow for wii u, it should reach tha mark of 3,5M sales by the end of july.

then things start heating up in august with pikmin and to a lesser degree splinter cell blacklist. september will be nice too thanks to rayman and W101 and I expect 4.3M sales by the end of september.

october will come with wind waker, batman, AC4, wii party U... I can see wii u reaching 5.2M by the end of october.

november will be huge with donkey kong, sonic, mario and sonic, watch dogs, black friday and a possible price cut. another 2M this month puts wii u on 7.2M

finally december capitalizes on all pre mentioned software and some others + the release of mario 3d world, wii fit U and sweet holiday season. Wii u shoul End december 2013 with 10.2M sold.

About the others I predict Xone just bellow 2M and Ps4 above 2M by the end of 2013 and that's it

I am a bonafide wii u optimist but i dont see where 3.5m is coming from by the end of july with no big releases during this period. It needs to do another 350k to reach that total and its doing less than than 25k per week which would only add another 150k by the end of july, tops 175k.
