No, GOW3 is not clearly superior, in fact it's not superior at all. the only impressive things are some enemies, but bear in mind that cronos fight alone cost 1M to develop. the scenarios are pretty lackluster compared to bayonetta2 and they're also mostly closed places vs big open ones at bayonetta.

Thanks for showing bayonetta 2 looks better. the scenario in GOW 3 isn't that impressive with kratos being the most detailed thing since many resources were put on his char model.

honestly comparing those 2 pics, god of war 3 looks nextgen compared to bayonetta 2 but thats why the graphics argument is a waste of time, people see what ever they want to see.

What you said makes absolutely no sense.  You're the one only seeing what you want to see.  Though I shouldn't be surprised that you do this, since you've been doing it over and over again throughout this thread and have been called out on it a multitude of times.  Why do you even care so much?  Why even make your sig what it is?  Why fight a battle you can't win?  Aren't you better off posting on things XB1 and PS4 related rather than Wii U?

It makes him feel better about his PS3/360 if he can convince himself the Wii U isn't more capable.

i really think it makes you guys feel better to say those games are above currentgen, i really don't care, i mean you would a expect a console that came out 6-7 years later to run circles around curren gent, but its not the case i see a console on par with current gen, almost all the multiplatform games are running worst and then the exclusives don't have great AA, textures or lighting.

ports running worst = bad porting, not bad hardware. here, look at this:

http://www.gamespot.com/features/xbox-vs-xbox-360-do-you-really-need-hd-6140621/

I'll keep showing you this until you shut up, it may take a while.

And yet you devote your signature and your entire existence on this site towards arguing it.

yea like i really post here much any more.

How much you post is irrelevant, what matters is that EVERYTIME you post is to try and diminish wii u.

It's amazing how much Ninjablade posts on these threads, and also amazing how many people respond to him. Anyway,

The difference between PS360 and WiiU/PS4/X1 so far seems so small to me in terms of the instant visual impact. The biggest differences so far seem to be in terms of resolution, frame rate and lighting.

In the most recent comparison photos showing B2 and GOW, I don't think anyone should be expecting either one to look dramatically better than the other. GOW is a work of art. The character models are flawless. I don't care what kind of hardware you give a developer, it's going to be hard to make something prettier than that. B2, as well, has had a lot of effort behind it, and the characters and backgrounds look fantastic.

The technical differences we will probably see are possibly a higher resolution and most definitely a higher, more stable frame rates. Also, the lighting looks much better in the B2 pictures. If you look at the torches in the GOW photo, they're not actually a light source. In the B2 photo, the sun bounces off the plane and Bayonetta in interesting ways. These effects are also evident in games X and Mariokart. MK in particular for me looked very "next gen" with it's polish, especially the lighting. These effects can't be reproduced on older hardware.

I'm trying to englighten him because his tech knowledge is fucking terrible but he thinks he knows his shit, but it's not working out too well since I don't think he has a basic understanding of what a good logic is, at least not on the internet. Who knows, maybe he's a swell guy IRL, or he gets beat up a lot, either way, I'll still try to inform the non-tech people as to how things work which is why I made an account here in the first place after looking at so many bad tech posts years ago..........

I appreciate your efforts, but I don't really think he has any intention of learning.  He's just posting to annoy fans of Wii U for kicks.

One thing for that flammer, Bayonetta 2 is not finished yet and looks better than GOW 3 in movement and best of all, the scale of the game is bigger. The demo of E3 is an alpha version of the game made in February. Please, next time don't pick up images retouched or these promotional

See the diference?

EDIT: Nevermind

Wow...

Would you guys please stop your dick waving contest over which game has better graphics. I don't care if Bayonetta 2 could run on the N64 or if God of War could push a billion polygons. I love the God of War series and I look forward to Bayonetta 2, but dear god some of you really need to grow up. Or are you so incapable of enjoying two games from different console manufactures?

You are all an embarrassment.

My last bit of immature dick waving before I leave! :D *Read the text in bold below the pictures for why my answer to the OP is yes and how I'm not just criticising Bayonetta 2's visuals to troll but because I'm genuinely not impressed & believe the Wii U could produce better looking games than anything on PS360.

@Zero999 The only impressive thing about GoW3 is some of the enemies? It's one thing to think Bayonetta 2 looks better, it's another thing to downplay how amazing God of War III looks, especially considering it's the developers 1st PS3 game on 7 year old hardware and the game will be 4 years old by the time Bayonetta 2 comes out on a next gen console. Hell maybe it's not fair to compare GoW3 to Bay 2, it even looks better than UC3 and on par with TLoU. Come now, you asked for it,  100% in-game screenshot time! (even though God of War III looks even better in motion thanks to film-like motion blur and great depth of field, both of which Bayonetta 2 doesn't have).

So only some of the enemies look impressive and nothing else? Really? ;D I wonder how many non-bias people would agree that Bay 2 looks better than GoW3? An insignificant minority I'd guess.

I believe God of War III looks significantly better than Beyonetta 2 and its sense of scale is far more impressive (if you still think Bay 2 looks better than either I'm being trolled or you just don't want to accept the truth). If the SSM dropped motion blur & depth of field (didn't notice either effect in the Bay 2 gameplay demo) then I bet GoW3 could run at 1080p/60fps and still look better thus why I believe Bayonetta 2 is doable on PS3 with a talented enough developer and enough time & resources, looking at how visually stunning Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is maybe 360 could too.

Anyway, I'm done now. If someone can look at God of War III and honestly think Bayonetta 2 looks better then I'm not going to waste time arguing with stubborn Nintendo/Bayonetta fans. Also Just because I feel God of War III is a league ahead of Bayonetta 2's visuals I'm not trying to say the Wii U is weaker than current gen HD consoles or that Bayonetta 2 is ugly, not at all, I just think the Wii U is capable of a lot more visually impressive games, Bayonetta 2 should look amazing but honestly it looks pretty much the same as the first game to me just slightly crisper with some light-shafts.

The real question should be can God of War III run on the Wii U?

Just as silly a question really with nobody here qualified to give a definitive answer. I'm out, carry on arguing. :)

I'm fully capable of enjoying both games but when someone like ninjatrollblade comes full of crap trying to diminish a game/system it get's really annoying.

the game looks great but there's a lot of exaggeration from sony fans, with some like ninjatrollblade saying it looks a gen ahead of bayonetta 2 when it's clearly inferior to bayo2.

and the answer to your "real"question: Yes and it would run on 1080p at 60fps.
