Simmer down, you're an elite gamer. We get it.

A lot of us aren't happy with what MS is doing. But Xbox One exclusives are so much more interesting (In my opinion of course). That's the primary reason people are going to stick with MS.

Everything Sony does now is a repsonse to MS. If it wasn't for for MS... Sony would release a $600 console with crappy launch titles.

If you like what Sony is doing with the PS4, you should thank MS. Sony wouldn't be so competitive with less competition.


I agree with you completely. Competition is what drives us forward. I have thanked Microsoft by buying both of their consoles and thousand and thousands of dollars worth of games and products. However, I will not support a company who are planning on stripping basic consumer rights.

I would prefer if maybe a different third company came in or Sega made a comeback. Anything but the XboxONE becoming successful.

Gaming is mature enough as it is. Gamers however...

In the past, did you troll a lot in Kinect threads? If yes, you weren't going to buy an Xbox One.

I was really impressed with the first showing of the Kinect and became less interested in it as time went by.

Truth be told I had always planned on getting a new XBox 360 sometime. Had most games I was interested in not come to the PC and had I not been able to just borrow the damn thing from a  friend, I probably would have gotten it again (my third one, maybe it would have been the charm).

As it stands, had Microsoft really brought the thunder for the next gen, I would have wanted a console eventually. I liked the XBox well enough at its time and only took mine off the shelf because it could no longer function as a Media hub since most videos came in higher quality and it couldn't render them properly - it was my anime machine for a long time -; I did not mind some of the stuff coming to the 360 and a lot of games were actually very nifty, with a lot of new games coming out that would peak my interest.

So yeah, I'm not biased against Microsoft per say, but I don't wish to support this road they're taking. Had it been different, they may very well have gotten my money at some point...but right now...can't see that happening honestly, especially as the console seems to not work in my country and I doubt we're on their "high priority" list.

I'm actually thinking of getting one, despite the consumer problems. However, the problems that exist ARE really bad.
It all depends on this library sharing thing. Support ten friends, and I'll buy it.
It's basically legal piracy.

Your only basic consumer right is having the option to buy the console. Nothing more.

I think the only other companies big enough to compete with the likes of Sony and Nintendo also want to go digital. So just deal with MS.

Sega make a comeback? My eyes can't stop rolling from the thought of that. The Sega we used to love is dead. DEAD!

I would have liked something like a ''i preffer Sony but Xbox One would have been an option if it hade been the all-round better device'' option.
