Just get it on your PS3 if you want the game. It probably will later release on PC, maybe PS4XBO down the road, but not Wii U.
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
Greatness Awaits!

I'd be surprised if it doesn't come to Wii U, I mean, almost all of the other big PS360 games are Wii U bound, so why not GTA?
I hope so anyway. Will save me a lot of money.

Yeah i would get it on my PS3, the reason i want it on Wii U is because i am not going to be a multi console owner this gen like previous. I really cant afford it, so if GTA V made it to the Wii U and did ok sales wise, then perhaps future GTA games will appear on the system in the future. i then wouldnt have to purchase another console to play these types of games. COD Ghosts, AC 4,Arkham Origins ,Splinter Cell and Watch Dogs is a good start though for 3rd party offerings.

Yeah I understand that, but I think that even though the 3rd party support is decent for a Nintendo console, the sales were mostly dissapointing, and the console totally lacks momentum. If this holiday season won't change this state of affairs then I think 3rd parties, save for the same as last gen and maybe some 3rd moneyhatted exclusives, the majority will simply jump ship and won't look back. It depends also heavily on the success of PS4/XBO but if all those reports from game retailers, and online sites, they are off to a successful start, at least, so the situation for Wii U doesn't look good.
As for the GTA V, even if the hardware is good enough to play the game just fine, as I think it is, the architecture difference between Wii U and PS3/360 means, that the port would require some manpower and workhours and it wouldn't be very cheap, or the game would be sub-par to current gen like most ports up to date. And if we go by sales, games more similar to GTA V, like AC3, or Batman AC flopped, while Sonic Kart Racer sold almost as much as its PS3/360 counterpart. This shows that there is not a big fanbase for this types of games, the install base has different taste in games. There also was no GTA game on Nintendo home platforms before, so that's also not encouraging.
That's why I believe Wii U is last on Rockstars priority list, as every other platform is simply more viable. PS4/XBO/PC are successors to consoles that Rockstar's fanbase will certainly go to, and if they wanted, the difference in power porbably is enough that they could do a cheap, not very optimised port, upscaled to 1080p and people should still buy it, cause it will be better than current-gen, and they will profit much more than from a Wii U port.

Sorry to say but if you are really interested in getting alot of the big multi-platform games and you only want one system the Wii-U really isn't the right choice. Though is assume you are really wlike Nintendo's franchises aswell?
I hope they launch it on WiiU.
But I'm sure that if they do it, it will be among the OC version 2 or 3 months after the PS360 launch.
Please excuse my bad English.
Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.
The third party Cartel will only release on Nintendo platforms if they have to.
The moment the Wii U stuttered in sales is probably the moment Rockstar sighed in relief and immediately canceled the project.
I LOVE ICELAND!

Fixed.
I am surprised that we didn't see anything from GTAV at E3.
When Sony annonced the PS3+GTAV bundle, I thought a few minutes of gameplay would be shown or at least a new trailer.
But we got nothing,
