Around the Network

If those pre-orders of Call of Duty: Ghosts continue to increase at this rate, then both versions are going to have HALF the pre-orders Black Ops II had in the same timeframe. Not a good sign.

But at least Grand Theft Auto V is starting to pick up now.

TLoU little bid dissapointing pre-orders.
And is the CoD hype finally over?

With all the media push and advertising that The Last of Us is getting i was expecting a little more.

TLOU slightly under what i was expecting but week 1 sales remain to be seen. GTA5 catching up fast for number one spot but how long would it be able to hold it in the COD dominating world. Splinter Cell is also picking up. The game lacks quite a bit of hype.

according to this: http://gimmegimmegames.com/2013/06/animal-crossing-new-leaf-sells-200k-in-first-five-days-in-us/

Animal Crossing seems like 75k to high.

So 1m WW first week for the Last of Us? I doubt it will go on to sales as good as Uncharted, but should still make some money

As always with these pre-order charts, a massive grain of salt to be taken with any numbers given.

TLOU does seem low here, but I still expect it to do well enough.

On the flip side, I think Xillia & Animal Crossing are too high. Probably Kingdom Hearts & SMTIV too.

I also have a hard time believing Wii Fit U has 25k pre-orders (it doesn't strike me as targeting a demographic that would pre-order games) nor that The Last Guardian is still getting pre-orders (FF XV at E3 should've taught people about that).

Also, I hope Rune Factory 4 & Muramasa do well. I didn't realise they were both coming out so soon!

Animal Crossing is not as much as I was thinking it would be. But those are decent numbers.

The Last of Us should do really well. Not too great, but very decent numbers as well. About as much as Tomb Raider, right?

Pikmin 3...needs some work.

Since THE LAST OF US is the best game ever made, it should sell at least 5 million copies lifetime, it will be a gigantic shame to mankind if it doesn´t.

I expect 900k-1.1mi first week, let´s see.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

TLoU is a bit lower than expected, especially considering how positive the reception has been and how huge media coverage and advertisement push is. It's still going to be pretty huge though so there's no need to worry or be disappointed.

It should sell 380K first week in the US and about 850K first week worldwide. I don't even want to guess its lifetime sales, it's impossible to guess as something could happen that affects its sales like if it were ported to the PS4 which would kill sales early or whether it is or isn't mass bundled which I doubt it will be since Sony already announced a GTA V & GT6 bundles for the holidays. I think it's safe to say it'll sell over 3 million lifetime, I won't give an estimate though.
