Ah, it's hopeless to argue with people who get that attached to a company or a machine.

THe problem is that you THINK consumers need to be pushed to a digital world, that is your opinion and not based on fact. Its funny, no other media got pushed to a digital anything, why are games different.

I am told my New York Mets suck all the time. Doesn't phase me as I have my priorities straight. I also know my Vita sells like shit. If you knew me IRL you would understand why things like this don't bother me. 

@ Banned question: Yeah, I made a thread yesterday to discuss and get some insight on what could or would happen if your XBox Live account got suspended or your console got banned. I wanted to know if you would lose access to your entire games catalogue. Knowing that people here like to have discussions based on speculation I felt it was a good question to ask and didn't bait and run either. I made sure I contributed to the discussion in it's entirety and kept calm and reasonable, bringing up XBox ToS to support the question.

It was more of a "I don't understand why people like you haven't been banned yet". I was being lumped in with the ever so terrible "Sony fanboys".

People are hyper-sensitive these days, I understand where you are coming from but in terms of xbox stuff, right now, it's a touchy subject. You should know that.

I know that you may not be sensitive to the things you like, but in the world there are people who have an attachment to the things they are a fan of, be it an artist, a sports team, a country, anything. It is highly insensitive to expect everyone to be as neutral about their favored things as you are and not sympathize with cases where what they like is being repeatedly bashed. This is something that is pretty important for you to understand if you really want to get to Kowen or at least hear his replies.

Some people like to poke fun at what others like to see how they'll react, for fun. Friends can do this to each other because the person being poked at knows that the friend is not doing it to intentionally hurt them. However people saying "this sucks", "that sucks" constantly and people reporting it in OPs, it's not nice at all and I don't see how you can expect an upset fan to understand things rationally when what they like is being railed on.

As for trying to understand them in order to hear their replies, I have also asked him before in a thread about things you dislike about XBone to let me know what it is about the console that appeals to him. I try to talk to him, especially in any thread he makes mention of his family, especially his daughter.

I never get replies on the more positive stuff, lol.

Sorry but as someone already said, Sony fans are in a frenzy atm on many sites hating X1 and pretending to be fans just like many hated on Wii U and pretended to be fans. Its kinda obvious most of the time that they aren't really fans though.

Example..

I am a huge Sony fan, I just wish they would make a new IP and stop rehashing games. It saddens me that PS4 isn't a next gen console because it has 2 year old PC ports and now I have to pay for online. Guess its X1 for me.

Now do I really sound like a fan? Nope not at all. That attitude is very common.

My question is. If X1 is so hated, why are you guys still so worried about it? Who are you so desperate to convince? Us or yourself? Because its getting to the point where it is looking more and more like a really desperate attempt to reassure yourself rather than add anything relevant to the duscussion

This, no one is forcing anyone to go in these threads, they could simply choose not to click on the button and ignore. I find that easier than getting upset. 

I respect HappyD, but i dotn agree with him on this instance, this is not politics and we are not children, I dont believe and mature adult male should be getting upset over something that they dont even need. Thats just me.

And a large amount are people who used to be vocal Sony haters (Myself included).

And just because someone uses  lanaguage that is incorrect or offensive does not mean that their views can be discounted. Especailly not when they are potential customers to a bussiness. 

Anyways, guys I don't want this to turn into a Kowenicki thread or for people to get the impression that I don't like the guy.

Overall I find him to be a valuable contributing member of this site and have no issues with him.

Fair enough guys I see where you are coming from and as long as we shared views I won't say either of us is right but at least we got to talk about it.
