the only way i can trust them with this is if its like the remake of 4 on the DS

It would be nice to get this game on a handheld with updated graphics and voice acting like in IV. Could be some easy sales for SE if done correctly on the 3DS,i still would like to see another installment in the FF series though because these MMOs and sequels are never ending or so it seems and Verse becoming 15 is plain lazy.

Spinoffs and MMOs should count as main number games...

Mind you, he was asking if a classic turn base system is wanted ala Final Fantasy 6. I don't think there's any plans to remake it.

I just played and beat VI for the first time and I can safely say no. The game is not that great. It was a step up for Final Fantasy and tried to deliver more on story but poorly executed. Much of that is due to the platform it was on. They simple could not achieve the direction and scope on the SNES. If they made a remake I would expect a massive overhaul on story, writing, events, progression...it would be better to make a new game.
