I also never said anything about you not being able to buy it. You can do what you want with your money. I am just curious to know what this "progress" is. That and what these so called "advantages" are. MS keeps mentioning them, but they don't actually describe them. Seems like they are just blowing smoke up our asses.

You seem to have no problem lumping those of us defending the policies as lunatics and every other derogatory phrase you can use without getting banned so you'll have to excuse me not caring about lumping all the protestors under one category too.  If attitudes change on the side your debating for then perhaps I'll change my stance but I wouldn't hold your breath about people becoming reasonable as they've been at it for 2 months now.

When and where was I using derogatory phrases towards you? Don't go making stuff up now.

I described some advantages of the model which you promptly ignored.  You're too busy screaming through the roof being resistant to change to look if it could actually be a benefit to the gamer.  I would say it's far more likely for Valve to go bust than Microsoft and then their model would leave you screwed in almost exactly the same way yet funnily enough we still have PC gamers crying about this too.  Ever considered that Microsoft are still finalizing these policies as the console still hasn't released yet.  They've said all alone than nothing is final yet which is probably why they cannot give you all the answers as they really aren't 100% sure yet.  I'd rather they wait and give the right information that "blow smoke up our asses" only to change stance later down the line.

The advantages you listed are available on any console that allows digital downloads, so it isn't a selling point. You say you can buy a disc, install it and then snap it in two and never need it again. Same goes for if you download a game on PC, PS3, PS4, 360 or XB1.

I  also don't use Steam, so I don't apply to your argument there.

By the way, here's some more information for you to ignore for those saying there is no progress or benefit.  As stated in the article there is lots of other things they can do to evovle the distribution and licensing markets.  This is a statement from Microsoft that will no doubt be "missed" by you all.

Yes, I will ignore it, which is why I posted about it saying it was really good news. As I said before, it pays to know what you are talking about before you speak.

These threads are going to be gold 18 months down the line.

We shall see.

OMFG, how could he say something like that? Wow, I thought Krazy Ken was arrogant...

I have a seething hate building for Don Mattrick and it is growing daily. Everytime he talks I want someone to punch his face. I wish MS would stop letting him speak period. He's just horrible at public speaking!

What else was he gonna say? I think it's sad that people here are bashing him for just being honest.

I agree, he didnt even seem arrogant, he looked like a deer caught in headlights TBH.

When he said it; he did not seem arrogant BUT that fact they implemented all this B$ shows they were/are arrogant; but not at the moment of the video lol :D

I don't think it shows arrogance but more of an over sight. It seems they never expected anyone to have an issue with their policies. I believe this is why they weren't ready to answer questions about it at the reveal.
