Obviously people do care. You just choose to ignore it.
As for getting better internet. I can't get Verizon FioS in my area, just Optimum Online, and my connection while a good 20mbs has so many issues and drops. I can't just wave a magic wand and shit gets better.
That goes for everyone, including those in the US who don't have internet.
So yes, people will buy the console that fits their purpose. The one that plays the same exact games as the XBone but DOESN'T need a internet connection in order to function.
By the way, the internet issue isn't even my main gripe anyways. My main gripe is why pay $60 and never actually OWN the product you purchase? If you're okay with just throwing your money away, more power to you. I however like to actually own something for the hard earn money I spend and like knowing that if I choose to no longer want it, I can go out and look for a maximum return.

I choose to ignore the same Sony fans repeating the same pointless concerns about a product they NEVER intended to buy anyway.
More power to those who buy the console that fits their needs, at least they aren't shoveling their opinion down others throats relentlessly on here telling everyone else what we should or shouldn't be doing with out money. Funny how it's only Sony fans who do this isn't it.
I will still own my games under the scheme Microsoft plan, the difference is that I will actually have to maintain a internet connection in order to play them which is no big deal as every time I turn on my 360 it's conencted and hasn't been disconnected for over 3 years.
Of course you seem to all complain about the negatives while ignoring any possible benefits. Under this new licensing scheme I can register the game to my account then effectively snap the disk in two as I'll not need it again. If it got stolen while registered to my account I would not have to rebuy the product. If my console got stolen I would only have to arrange a replacement console then login and let it download all my content I owned straight back without having to mess around buying it all again. If my disk gets scratched (or lost), who cares as I can download the digital copy instead. If I go round to my friends and decide I want to show him a new game that I got, I can logon to their console, donwload the game then show them or of course just take the disk if I had the forethought to plan such a outing. I will now be able to digitally transfer my licenses to friends as opposed to them being tied to my account never to be used again previously. This is all I thought of in 5 minutes, there will be lots more benefits that will come about from having these "restrictions".
I dont' expect you all to praise the system or it's restrictions but at least learn to consider the positive benefits that can happen rather than always complaining about the same points which are born from the lazy argument that because you used to do it, you should always be able to. There is a reason the ipod/ipad took off, some of you just lack the vision to understand why it seems.
@oniyide/SxyxS- you're not worth the time quoting or arguing with if the best you can do is those predictable straw man arguments.
