As for getting better internet. I can't get Verizon FioS in my area, just Optimum Online, and my connection while a good 20mbs has so many issues and drops. I can't just wave a magic wand and shit gets better.

That goes for everyone, including those in the US who don't have internet.

 

So yes, people will buy the console that fits their purpose. The one that plays the same exact games as the XBone but DOESN'T need a internet connection in order to function.

 

 

By the way, the internet issue isn't even my main gripe anyways. My main gripe is why pay $60 and never actually OWN the product you purchase? If you're okay with just throwing your money away, more power to you. I however like to actually own something for the hard earn money I spend and like knowing that if I choose to no longer want it, I can go out and look for a maximum return.

It pays to know things before you speak about them though. I was a big supporter of the XBox One. I was very much looking forward to it and only went the other way when they gave out the official policies. I am a big supporter of ownership rights and I am glad that many others do as well. That doesn't make us Playstation fans. That makes us people who don't like being treated like shit.

You're 100% out of touch if you thinks it's just Sony fans bitching and moaning. When is the last time you checked the XBox.com forums? They are bitching there as well.

 

I speak out because I find their policies to be bullshit and the reason why people spread the word is because if people accept this kind of behaviour then it only gets worse from here on out. You say you own the games, but what happens if and when Live goes down? What if MS calls it quits? Do you still have them? What happens if Anonymous doesn't like their practices and pulls a PSN on them and Live goes down for weeks? Can you play those games you own?

This is what you are agreeing to. I however don't agree with it.

 

Give a man an inch and he will walk a mile. I fear for what their next attempt will be if we as consumers allow these current practices to continue.

 

I also never said anything about you not being able to buy it. You can do what you want with your money. I am just curious to know what this "progress" is. That and what these so called "advantages" are. MS keeps mentioning them, but they don't actually describe them. Seems like they are just blowing smoke up our asses.
