There's no problem with wanting to have an idea of how a game would look in motion, particularly in the case of Mario Kart since the game is in motion most of the time. I know GIFs aren't ideal, but I don't really care. We'll see the real deal when the games are released and direct footage is on the net.

Can we just agree to disagree? X looks amazing for a Wii U game but the graphics are outdated, but this is really a personal opinion which people could go on for days... Why do graphics even matter anymore hell I still think Wind Waker looks better then half the crap released this Gen. The PS4, Xbox One and Wii U are ALL 8th generation consoles, sure the Wii U is weaker compared to current gen Specs but who cares the Wii was massively under powered that didn't stop me from getting one. If you ask me the game play improvements are what really matters.

The comparisions are mainly between X and 360/PS3 games. Regardless, you're right that a game can have outdated graphics and still look very good. Heck, I feel as if we've come to a point where few major titles don't have decent graphics.

I sadly don't think he was trolling. The title must of made him assume X was X1. Pretty clear indicator of how some fans act whether intentional or not...

Anyway, the game looks great. Watched it in 720p on this crappy laptop and it could be borderline next gen. If it's launching in 2014, I'll look forward to seeing the final product!

Thank you for understanding, Like X sure it wasn't mindblowing but at the same time It wasn't underwhelming. To me Polygons, and photo realistic, Dynamic Lighting etc blah blah, does't make the game appealing. 

its not about graphics, it's about some nintendo fans wanting to prove so bad that wiiu is more powerful hadware then 360/ps3,in reality its not, if it was more powerful in any meaningful way,, most of the wiiu games shown so far look like descent current gen games except X which looks like a really good lokking currentgen game, but none of those games are running 1080p, or even have great image quality, like god of war 3/forza horizon, show me a wiiu game thats jaggie free, you can't even find one. if the wiiu can't bring better image quality then current gen, how is it a step up.

I still fail to see how those graphics looks "outdated" at all. Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2 and X specifically all look very much "next gen" to me.

This thread...I don't know what to say about it. To me the game looks great, regardless of what system it's on. And the gameplay looks solid also. I can't wait to play it, and I simply don't understand why some people are so intent in attacking other games for trivial reasons as opposed to simply enjoying other titles which interest them.

But there you are. As I said, to me the game looks great and if its anything like Xenoblade, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
