I can't admit something when its false, you can do a HD pic comparsion thread of current gen vs wiiu and 360/ps3 will look much better, the only thing i hear thats impressive about X is scale, so at best even with the hyperbole added its looks a bit better then open world 360/ps3 games but real nextgen systems already are a huge step up in resolution, IQ, textures, detail, everythingthing looks better.


So in conclusion Wii U is not current gen is what youre saying since you just admitted current gen cant handle a game of scale like this?

i said with hyperbole added, i haven't played the game to know the scale, but you can clearly see the lighing is static, while open world games like RDR/GTA5 have dynamic lighting, so there is trade offs being made to get it running like lighting and 2d foilage.


So in other words you will just saying anything to downplay the visual quality of the game. You were wrong about the hardware so just get over it. Everyone is wrong at least once in their life.

They did nothing to prove me wrong today. People hyping X and Mario Kart graphics are largely basing it off of the crappy video and filling in the blanks from there. here is a hd pic of a so called nextgen game to prove my point
 X will have the same crappy image quality of current gen, same jaggies same textures, still waiting for those X HD pics, that nintedo will never release.


Are you serious dude? Its not even funny.....i dont know what to tell you. Everyone has their own opinion i guess.

Rufly at the same level as Final Fantasy 13 I'd say.

FF13 is nowhere near this game in term of detail and scale.

Why are these statements being made? You're only setting yourself (and others) for failure. Game isn't out yet and you're basing a deep comparison on a very short trailer.

this game looks stunning and it proves wiiu is next gen, people here saying is not next gen are just fanboys.

Screenshots aren't going to do any of these games any justice. It's time to summon the gifs.

The second one does a good job of showing off the terrain rendering in particular. Also, it seems that each piece of 2D foliage has a clearly visible shadow.

Mario Kart 8 may not be pushing Wii U a ton, but it looks good in motion. I'm okay with now and future Mario games looking like this.

If X were a Sony game. the opinions of many people would be different...

Off topic but I thought this funny.

Wii U isn't next gen because its games look current gen
So when Diablo3 looks just like the 2 year old PC version that will also be proof PS4 isn't next gen by any means...

I'd honestly be ashamed to be a Sony fan atm. You guys don't have anything to brag about on PS4 so you've started attacking Wii U and X1. Every reason you hated on Wii U applies to PS4 and almost off the things you cried about X1 over is also on PS4. Don't you guys get sick of having to backtrack every week?
Why cant Sony gamers form their own opinion without having it given to them by Sony and actually keep that opinion for more than 6 months.. Just because Sony does it doesn't mean your opinion has to change.

All I see ninjablade doing is repeating the same thing over and over again, and it's the same thing every time too (in other threads).

He did the same thing with the NFS: Most Wanted stuff.

All I hear from ninjablade is "blah blah blah 2D foliage blah blah blah static lighting blah blah blah Nintendo sucks blah blah blah Wii U is weaker than PS360 blah blah blah I hate Nintendo and can't admit when something Nintendo is ever better than SonyMicrosoft"

I hate gifs they make a game look so much better then it really does, it hides all the flaws,  crysis 2 looked mind blwong in gifs on 360, when i played the game a week ago its looked horrible. hd pics or bust.

Seriously?  #1 *than #2 screen shots show a LOT less to determine graphics/technical feats than gifs #3 you're obviously trying to skew this in your favor because saying it "hides all the flaws" is not true and the "hiding flaws" thing is 100% equally relevant to still HD pics.

no direct feed captures are 100% what the game looks like, you can check teXture quality/image quality and AA, GIFS are good for checking lighting and getting an idea of how the game looks in motion.
