So to sum up:
1. Almost no new games this year, not even for christmas.
2. The Super Mario 3D game looks like something from before Galaxy, super underwhelming with 0 wow factor. You should have kept it on 3DS, Nintendo.
3. Another DKC game? Really? That looks almost identical to the last?
4. Mario Kart is Mario Kart - great - but nothing new
5. Smash Bros is Smash Bros - great - but nothing new
6. 3RD party support? WHAT 3RD PARTY SUPPORT?
7. The Zelda game that least needed new graphics is getting new graphics.
8. No surprises! NOTHING. Except the 3D Mario letdown, if that counts.
9. DELAYS DELAYS DELAYS. How are you running Nintendo, Iwata?

Seriously. Iwata has to go. Nintendo are committing harakiri.

I'll give it a 2. Disappointed beyond belief. The ONLY new game announced was Donkey Kong Country, and even that's a disappointment to me. Don't get me wrong, I love Donkey Kong, but after all the hype and mystery surrounding Retro's game...I expected a whole lot more.

No. They expect to sell good this christmas with Pikmin 3, TW101 and remake of WWHD. And the big key title is a sequel to a handheld title that looks worse than the previous generation flagship platformer.

its not haiting, but we ( or at least me) were expecting a brand new IP, new metroid or star fox from retro. retro studios can be one of the most iconic studio from nintendo and they are stuck making DK country...

They showed a new Donkey Kong Country, but who knows who makes it? By the way: Retro hired many people in the last two years, surely not to make DKC

Obviously the new Retro title was not ready to be shown now :(

It looked like 2011 all over again except Mario Kart 8 is next year.

I was hoping for a Mario 64 style game but maybe the hd 3D land will be good.

Mario Kart 8 looks like a fusion of F-zero and Mario Kart 7.  Looks good so far.

W101 still looks good.

I was actually embarrassed about the Bayonetta crotch shot opening at a Nintendo Direct.  Kids watched this.

I've never liked any Smash Brothers game but fans will enjoy it and Mega Man is really cool.

Donkey Kong looked good but why not a full open world game for Wii U?

The stream on the official website was crap. 

I will reserve judgement until after the week is over incase anything else is announced.

For now I wish I had waited on purchasing this system.

- The show was short, really short
- 3D Mario looks more like another New Super Mario Bros. game and we have had certainly enough of them lately
- Donkey Kong had extremely bad timing
- MK, Bayo 2, Smash Bros. and X looked pretty good.
- lack of third party titles
- no WiiU SKU/pricing changes
- props for showing more gameplay than CGI

Understandable why they didn't make a whole press conference.
