Where is YOUR prediction?

Wasn't the X360 launch abnormal though, in that it was in very limited supply? Also, expectations were low, MS coming from Xbox. This time Xbox will have an established user base.

A more normal console launch is around 2 million during the first holiday season. PS3 1.3 million, Wii 3.0 million, Wii U 2.3 million.

Also I believe console launches will be more frontloaded than they were in the past. People are more informed today and they've gotten more used to buy new expensive devices (smartphones, ipads, TVs).

I would say it will sell on par with the Wii U.

Xbone 2.2 million before end of 2013

Is it true that a year of LIVE membership is packed with every xbone purchase? Any news about that rumored Sky and MS partnership? I think MS still has a chance of doing better than we are hoping if they offer subscription packages.

Another factor is that the current gen has dragged on long into overtime. People will transition much faster this time.

Also the game libraries at launch and during the lunch window will be so much stronger than in the past. Publishers have been able to prepare for this for years.

Look at past launch lineups. They're a joke.

This time we'll have COD, BF4, Assassin's Creed 4, Watch Dogs and a bunch of other great games at launch.

With 2.2 million for Xbone I think I'm actually lowballing it. It has potential for more. and PS4 could sell 4 million if there's enough units available.

XBone 1.5m, against PS4 4.5m.

1.5 million. Could be more but the supply will be holding it back.

I predict more than 1.3 million. It will have that effect of xbox 360 and kinect; it will sell really well during the holidays, but not that well during the normal period.

It will be more than 2 million, imo.

1.5mil for me. Coincidentally, PS4 will hit 2.2mil, but will launch sooner.
