Another factor is that the current gen has dragged on long into overtime. People will transition much faster this time.
Also the game libraries at launch and during the lunch window will be so much stronger than in the past. Publishers have been able to prepare for this for years.
Look at past launch lineups. They're a joke.
This time we'll have COD, BF4, Assassin's Creed 4, Watch Dogs and a bunch of other great games at launch.
With 2.2 million for Xbone I think I'm actually lowballing it. It has potential for more. and PS4 could sell 4 million if there's enough units available.
