The X1 controller seems better but aside from that no advantage whatsoever.

This doesn't benefit gamers but in a way it does, now publishers will make money even if ppl buy a used game or not. That can mean in more sequels to games and overall more games. In a way that does benefit us all. 3. With the cloud we can have better looking games, the developers at Respawn said Titan Fall was not possible on xbox one without the cloud so that must mean the cloud does help with gaming. Microsoft has over 300,000 servers up just for this, i highly doubt sony has that money to do the same so cloud computing on Sony seems harder. Also Microsoft and sony only announced 1 model and that is pretty weird. What if Sony has a model for $500 and microsoft has one for $400? |
If MS had one SKU at 400$ they would have announced by now, this is E3.
Funny that now that Sony will charge for P2P online play, Microsoft will move to dedicated servers for all their games (finally making Live truly worth it).
And for all the DRM complaints, it does have it's advantages. The promise of being able to share your entire videogame collection with up to 10 family members is huge imo. Even if it's only one at a time, that means my closest family can play my games and vice-versa without having to physically hand each other a disc. A huge plus because my family is scattered across the states.
They did not know what sony was going to announce. Why did Sony only show 1 model aswell? Why did they have a long delay??
Maybe they just went ahead and announced their cheaper version to gain more pre-orders? While maybe micorosoft will announce another model soon?
To respond to SEECE
you have to install yuor game on to your hard drive, period. 500GB HDD and potentially having to buy more space if you own more than 12 games, is a dis advantage for microsoft.
That and the thing is noticebly weaker than the ps4

agreed!
plus you can share xbl gold aswell.
Maybe that's why sony priced it lower because they will charge for MP now. In the end they will make more money $60 a year it is for sony fans.

Is just a better bussiness practice to announce the cheaper option first or at the least at the same time that the pricier one. Maybe Sony announced only one model because they only have one model and if they do have a more expensive model it doesn't change nothing since PS4 starts at 399$.

it does not change anything but Microsoft can easily ready up a $400 model aswell to compete.
Halo so far just like the first Xbox and no real major exclusives.
