Looks really good. Never been a Sonic fan myself but this definitely grabs my interest.

Also, isn't it amazing/refreshing to see genuine gameplay from a real, live, original, high-quality Wii U game? With the exception of X, this is the only thing we've seen, basically, since before the November 18 launch. It's almost hard to believe that new content is really coming! Not that I'm done with my first batch of Wii U games yet, but it does get the hype going for a change.

I wonder if this uses an all new engine or builds off Mario Galaxies or maybe even Super Monkey Ball. Looks great though, and runs super-smooth with great graphical tricks.

Also, they only have characters from Sonic up to Sonic CD, that's excellent.

And the gameplay looks fun.

It's like the bad 3D games never happened and we're in an alternate reality where STI made Sonic Xtreme :D

3DS and Wii U version are not the same games, not the same content.

both  levels are different as far as I can see

I initially mistook the 3DS gameplay for the Wii U version gameplay. :P

Either way, they both look awesome and seem to play awesomely.
