You probably think this is a great point. The difference here is that, if my internet goes down for whatever reason (mainteneance, for example. I can't speak for others, but here there are some times where I don't have internet for a whole day), I can live without being able to access VGChartz. I can play video games, for example...

...unless I have a Xbox One. It's a decision that baffles me, what's the point of this mandatory connection?

Put things into context. You can't access vgchartz for a month? No big deal. You can't access your games for a month? Now, that is a deal breaker.

Also, you can access vgchartz on any mobile phone so you don't need your home internet.

Maybe people are speaking about others who don't have reliable internet. Most people on here should be able to have a steady enough connection, but overall the online thing still seems like a pain. It's isn't a 100% dealbreaker for me though, but like I said, seems like an overall pain.
