This is not going good for Insomniac... -_-'
And this is one of their first games going 3rd-party...

i hope they can survive this. i see no reason why EA would want to work with them again after this. it would be really sad if they shut down and lose a lot of their staff.

Sony could save them i suppose. I am sure they still have a good relationship with their former partners.

maybe, i doubt that would happen though. but you never know

Hey, after the whole Sega going 3rd-party and can still stay afloat, anything can happen, I have to be optomistic... can we? ;_;

 And proud member of the Mega Mario Movement!

Insomniac could end up being the silicon knights of Sony.

Wow only 3 mediocre games in 19 years of developing games, not bad. I highly doubt this game had a very high budget in the first place. It probably won't take many copies sold just to break even I'll estimate 500,000 copies to break even and 600,000-750,000 copies to make the project be worthwhile/profitable. Though I doubt it will even sell 300,000 copies by the Holliday's, it won't cripple Insomniac by any means but it will definitely hurt their wallet a tad.

I've seen people say that their ratchet games have been on a downward slide in recent years, as well. Perhaps now after this, they'll re-evaluate themselves and refocus. It seems like a a relatively medium size studio trying stretch themselves too thin.

Why "of Sony"? Insomniac are independent, and this screw-up has nothing to do with Sony but everything to do with EA and Insomniac.

They'd only need to make proper Ratchet games again and all would be forgotten.

Sry I meant Factor-5. Blah my gaming history. Buddy with Sony for a while and then get a bit too ambitious and 1 games ends up ruining them. wouldn't be too surprised either.

Difference is that Factor-5 did indeed develop said game for Sony. Insomniac made the mistake of going from Sony to EA. And I wouldn't call Fuse and ambitious game either

No Insomniac being the one buddy with Sony like Factor-5 was with Nintendo for a while. Then they switch and it ends up costing them a lot.

Wouldn't be surprised if we hear about some layoffs in the coming weeks.

Yes 360+Ps3 combined, again it's just an estimate. I'm basing it on the lack of marketing, Insomniac was working on it less than 2 years having released Resistance:3 and All 4 One in 2011, out of the 180 people Insomniac employees probably 60-80 were working on this project, and for the fact the game looks low budget.

Damn insmoniac....talk about fall from grace

Falls in line with their other recent drops in quality. Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (63) and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One (70)

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
