Thats a marketing argument not a game development argument. Its totally agreeable that Sony is terrible at marketing. They put out so many products they can barely market them all. Imagine their marketing during the PS2 era? Point made. The Eyetoy wasn't even seen by the masses even though Sony started the motion control trend in 2004. They had a couple commercials but in truth it was weak commercialization for a product that had the potential to expand the market further than 200 million+ consoles. Microsoft puts out a few products that they put their marketing dollars behind.
Worried? No, not really, until we hear what a good number of these games are. I think we will find that a high percentage of them will be XBLA or Kinect-based titles rather than solid games. Also 8 of the 15 are new "franchises", so we have no idea whether they are likely to be rotten or not. In addition to this, I would be highly surprised if we actually see anywhere near the 15 titles in the first year....I honestly reckon we will only see around 10 tops with the remainder coming out within the following year.
So far the PS4 has 6 PS-branded exclusives already announced, with the likelihood of quite a hefty number to follow, and also, don't forget that we have already seen gameplay from Knack & KZ:Shadowfall.
Anyway, being totally honest, how many games will MS actually show @ E3? And remember they are "still committed" to the 360 so surely will need to show at least a few games for that?
What is certain is that this should be the best E3 for a long long time with both MS & Sony going all out to impress, so I fully expect all the big guns to come out blazin'
Prediction (June 12th 2017)
Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.
PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)
PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)
Sony fans (minions) are already destroying it before it was formally announced. What to worry?

Wonderbook is at 0.42 million. Hardly a dance central or kinect sports. Even kinectimals and disneyland broke a million

That is a marketing argument and a sales argument....based on obvious sales data (both hardware AND software) and userbase (since you generally have to cut the move sales more then in half to get the user base number). Hence the "being completely ignored"...relative to kinect.

I know. And friends of mine that own it said that well, it is fun. But I've hardly seen anything else for it after the release (And that harry potter game), so kinda a middle finger to Wonderbook owners.

I think "destroying" a mostly unannounced list and guessing its all kinect based will only set them up for being trolled when MS actually shows something great.

Well either that or some of the Move games are simply bad. Wonderbook received A LOT of advertising over the holidays. |
Actually the Move is the most accurate device i've used out of the lot of them. The problem with it is I dont think Sony takes casual games seriously. They've been developing casual games since 2001 and compared to their competition for motion control and it seems like it doesnt matter to them. The Move games have the capacity to be more sophisticated than the Kinect and the Wii, because its both combined therefore realizing Sonys dream of a game thats attainable for casuals that plays like a core title. The problem is they dont treat their casual games very well.
