I'm surprised there aren't more people talking about what was, to me, the most lacklustre showing at the Xbox reveal. Call of Duty Ghosts.

New Engine? Fresh?

The visuals still look outdated. In fact, Battlefield 3 on PS360 looks better than what they showed of Ghosts. It looked awful. If that was a new engine, I didn't see a lot of improvements. To me it was nothing more than a higher res version of their previous games. And as for fresh....please. America under attack, again. Big shocker. Oh but we have a dog guys! Remember when Peter Moylneux thought that was the next big thing?! Well we're making the leap too!

I thought Activision might actually surprise us for once and come out with something impressive. Instead, it was a complete joke.

Yeah, Ghosts looked incredibly underwhelming.
The visuals looked worse than 2007's Crysis, and it was laughable to hear them talk about leaping over walls and leaning out from behind cover like they were innovative new ideas.

I found it funny how they said Ghosts is some bold move instead of making Modern Warfare 4, cause it is not. Makig something new not connected to COD would have been bold

In the past a new engine meant an engine completely new. Nowadays developers can just add minor features to an old engine and call it new.

I don't agree. Apparently COD: Ghosts = Fable II, which is a huge improvement in my eyes.
