I think the visuals were pretty good for a 1st gen game.

What i think was amazing is that Microsoft was basically advertising the PS4 aswell with this game. It is multiplatform afterall, wether DLC comes first or not.

And that's the real scary part lol
This was the game i was looking forward to the most. Now i'm not one to be a graphics whore but seriously this looks worse then Killzone2, i just bought and played it this month so its fresh in my memory.
If what we saw of CoD is not 1080p and a solid 60FPS i don't even know what to think. Even if it is this still looks like a current gen game and looks nothing like what we have seen so far from other companies.

No. If CoD stops doing the job it is doing for most buyers (fun multiplayer shooter, short explosion filled campaign) it will die like anything else.
"Taste" isn't a quantity you can have high or low amounts of. Those people find CoD every bit as enjoyable as you find your games. Neither of you is better. Try to understand why people buy games you don't like.

The visuals still look outdated. In fact, Battlefield 3 on PS360 looks better than what they showed of Ghosts. It looked awful. If that was a new engine, I didn't see a lot of improvements. To me it was nothing more than a higher res version of their previous games. And as for fresh....please. America under attack, again. Big shocker. Oh but we have a dog guys! Remember when Peter Moylneux thought that was the next big thing?! Well we're making the leap too! I thought Activision might actually surprise us for once and come out with something impressive. Instead, it was a complete joke. Battlefield 4 all day thanks |
CoD is not and has never been about about the visuals. It's about the smooth as butter gameplay.
Weren't gaming hipsters saying "graphics don't make a game" a few years ago?
I guess you have all become graphics whores.

I shall do no such thing! So to reaffirm my biased point:
I hope in this new gen old crappy Ip's like COD would just fade away....

Don't know what you are talking about. We now have dogs, fishes that move out of the way when we swim, we can slide AND lean around corners, dynamic smoke. I mean what else can you ask for? This is every gamers dream.
