If someone is concerned that the kinect will see you at all times could at least put a piece of paper infront of the sensors and Woalla! no one can see you

I am not sure about the mic, we probaly have to put it outside our bedrooms for extreme privacy concerns...

So in essense the cost of PS4 will be raised because it too will be bundled with its own camera.

And rly? Its the same eyetoy? Surely its a 2.0

It most likely will, but I doubt it will cost 599USD again.

Sony Pictures and Columbia Record House are incredibly profitable. They SHOULD spin off. They can report earning every day of every week for the next decade lol. Spin off and make more money and watch the stock rise.

The tv division needs to die, then things can return to normal.

Oh, this is about kinect being a 'killer app.' LOL...yeah ok, keep dreaming.

Looks like you are. Eye toy is nothing compared to kinect. Eye toy is more like below:

Kinect is in a whole other league.

Fun facts : kinect is basically an upgrade version of eye toy but bulky and huge!

Except eyetoy alone can't produce quality games unless Move is involved, and even then most Move titles bombed critically. Eyetoy can't voice navigate the marketplace and play your media, and it certainly is underpowered technically.

But you are right, they both have a camera, lol.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

The thing can read your frikkin heart rate.

That may or may not have anything to do with gaming even though their are possible uses .

The new kinect is not a bit better like you say. Its a lot better than the first kinect.
