Microsoft today took the wraps off its next generation Xbox console branded as Xbox One. The new console now features upgraded graphics similar to Sony PS4. You can take a look at the comparison between Sony PS4 and Microsoft Xbox One in the table above. Both of them feature almost same spec on the main unit. But I think Xbox One wins hands down on the sensor department where the new Kinect with 1080p HD support beats Sony’s sensor.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Sony hasn't said anything about it's sensor..

also, PS4 also supports 4K resolution

I just read that Xbox One will become more powerful over time via cloud computing. And we still don't know if the specs are exact to rumors, MS didn't actually put out specs other than 8gb ram and 8 core cpu.

PS4 sensor is pretty much bog standard, also the 4K will be for videos and not games.

So very accurate leaks we had this time.

Pretty noticeable difference in power then, hopefully the easy to master x86 architecture will mean that they will use PS4s power and the new Xbox won't hold it down.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Why couldn't the PS4 do that too?  It kind of sounds like marketing.

But I do think Microsoft is better at running giant networks of virtual learning that just about anyone.  Google, Amazon (for networking) or IBM being their competitors.

Because every game will be natively 4k?  Sony hasn't mentioned anything about its scalar technology.  Good to know MS will be scaling at least.

So future games might actually require an always-online connection?
