They still should have shown at least a few minutes worth of a game reel for the games in development to some extent. That is really the only reason I'd say PS4 reveal was better than XOne. Though both were better than WiiU's reveal and first E3 lol. At least it was clear it was a new console.

This man is contradicting himself. The console is made "by gamers, for gamers" and yet their "vision" they presented us was mostly entirely non-gaming.

Words aside, I think it's pretty safe to assume they got all this general stuff out the door to attract mainstream media. They'll then focus on games at E3.

If rumors and leaks are to be believed, they are 6 months behind schedule. It's not surprising they didn't show a million games. Kotaku started this rumor though so its not the most reliable.

They still havent announced a single kinect game so be prepared for E3 indeed

There is a pretty big differnce actually, the wiiu reveal happened more than a year before launch,they showed the console on 2 E3 and the PS4 and Xbox reveal happened less than a year before launch

PS4 was revealed in February....they had to show more to fill in the few months gap for E3.

MS's conference is 2 weeks before E3. 2 weeks.

In the span of an entrie generation, 2 weeks is nothing.
