What i'm not looking forward to at all:
flood of fresh arguments about which console is better when the differences between them, now and after the show are so small the games are going to look exactly the same anyway.

So do we and they still might. Why would they pre-announce new ip's and ruin the fun? Think about it.

They also may save most new IP's to take Sony on head to head at E3.


True, but the show is supposed to only be a hour. With all the time wasters involved in presentations it sounds like they will not have room for much else. I like Cod, a lot, but in the end that is the same stuff people have played for years, and do not get tons of change.

My prediction, "we at MS are proud to try to make you buy from us by giving you early content," ' it is favor to you to buy from us." "It is all for the consumer not us"

This is not about the games. Every game we see will be a plus.

That's kind of a given, nobody really know what was going to happen 100% for the ps4 reveal, it was fairly obvious it would be the ps4 but nobody knew just what would be shown or how much, where as for this reveal everyone is more or less 100% sure not only will the console be officially announced and named, but potentially it's specs revealed and most possibly the hardware itself revealed - in contrast when e3 rolls around people will be a little more excited for sonys conference than for microsofts, for the complete reverse reasons - microsoft just showing games, and the console again, where as it'll be peoples first look at the actual hardware and final controller design (teaser has made it obvious changes between the ps4 announcement and the teaser have taken place with the controller).

 

Now don't take this the wrong way, but i'm almost more excited to see the new consoles controller than i am about the actual console itself.

im looking forward to see it! im worried we will not see much in the line of games, given its only an hour long. and then there is the 900 pound gorilla in the room the kinect, sigh.... i hope there are games, i hope there are games, i hope there are games....
