Forums - Microsoft - XBOX ONE. Multitasking. 15 exclusives in year 1, 8 of them are new IP's. Halo mini series (Spielberg), NFL deal. FIFA and COD exclusive content.

Well. Nice to see I don't have to update my comparison thread much.

Awesome show. Pretty much ticked all the right boxes.
Hands down destroyed the PS4 reveal, which was not really a reveal.

IF it works as they say then RIP remote control.

1337 grafix!!

Not at all. Yes, arms are good, but everything else is old PC graphics (bf3 on PC, crysis 1 jungle).

But gredit where it is due, they are going down a mature, heavy story path which is beyond fantastic to hear.

meh...Call of Duty from a graphical standpoint didn't look that immpressive at all...

Indeed, MGSV looks better on current gen.

Messin around in the hour before class.. What'd I miss? Any tech specs? Sweet games? Controller and console looks pretty slick..

Really slick fast transfer between games, TV, Music, Skype etc. - all verbal and super fast.

You can split you screen ala Snap like in Windows 8.

8 Gig RAM.

Time of Flight on the new Kinect.

300k new servers on Xbox Live (currently 15k).

8 new IP's at Launch!

Nicccce.. All that hype for PS4's 8 gig of RAM, and MS just matched it anyway..

Kinect stuff isn't my bag, but the 8 new IPs are good to hear! Though I wouldn't mind another Gears and Halo as well, which I'm sure will be coming..

No...they said 8 gig, not 8 gig DDR5

it's actually Gddr5...

I watched the whole thing and they only mentioned the amount of RAM. Not the type.

Around the Network

Disappointed. They kinda only showed one game.

Yeah.

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

At least they should have said that this was for US audience so we wouldn't lose time.

Some very smart moves by Microsoft. Exclusive content matters at the start of a generation. And it was EXTREMELY USA-focused, so they've likely got a lock there for another gen.

Unfortunately, it made for a very boring presentation. Lots of buzzwords; lots of TV-and-American-Football stuff that as a UK gamer means little to me. When the highlight of the presentation is Call of Duty whose best parts include "Dogs" and "Fish that move out of the way" then... yeah.

But, I suppose they're saving most of it for E3. I'm glad it's a powerful console and Quantum Break has the potential to be my kind of thing. And I suppose I watched it through the eyes of a Sony gamer just like how many of the excited people in here watched PS4 reveal through the eyes of a MS gamer.

Yeah, I agree.

Reminded me a lot of Microsoft's E3 last year. A lot of stuff about multimedia interactivity and a bunch of games that can be played on systems other than Xbox.

Really excited for the 15 exclusives, but not a great presentation.

Don just confirmed that it isnt an always online console.

Oh man, that was underwhelming. I know they are saving the surprises for the E3 conference, I am fully aware but that just was not the fantastic, take down the PS4 and WiiU reveal I was expecting.

That being said, the machine is a goddamn beast. I'm not much for specs but it sounds more powerful than the PS4, not sure how right that is. The graphics look amazing, the integrated TV stuff is pretty neat and for sports lovers, it is a dream come true.

Still, they needed more. CoD looks nice and all but ending with a multiplayer game is just lackluster.
