for sonics sake, i would love to see this game do huge sales. Show that sonic is still the fastest chilli dog eating hedgehog out there.

i am beyond excited to hear more about this at E3, but i swear to god if there is a wearhog in it thats it i am done. Not to mention not a huge fan of silver or shadow or rose. vector is pretty cool though.

Yes it will. It's a name franchise with a fanbase. It's not like bagging Final Fantasy or COD, but it does strengthen Wii U.

I dunno, I guess Nintendo strangled all the allure out of Sonic. I played Sonic on the Wii and even then it lost its luster, but when they made generations I said yo know what, simple is probably where Sonic needs to stay.

Yeah, even though Sonic was in the top 20 most successful franchises, there's no way it could strenghten WiiU's position, because doom and all that.

Also:

Secret Rings Wii > The Hedgehog 2006 360 + PS3 combined
Unleashed Wii > Unleashed 360 + PS3 combined
Colors Wii > Generations 360 + PS3 combined
Generations 3DS > Generations 360 + PS3 combined

Pretty obvious why this partnership was made.
