It doesn't really matter, they can't stop what's going to happen. Everybody will be laughing at their faces after the holidays, once the WiiU booms after it's first & second party mass selling AAA title onslaught coming later this year, as well as it's few but mass selling casual titles too, while they will be trying to sell their "next gen" games on consoles that won't even have enough quantities available or low enough price to sell at quantities that will allow EA or anyone to make any money out of them until the holidays next year.
As for me, I don't care about their games. I've never bought any EA game in my life. But I still acknowledge their importance in selling consoles to many "mass market gamers" who don't know much else about really good games and buy the same game year after year with some minor updates. But then again those are more likely to buy any other company's console, or even smartphones instead and play them there anyway.
