As everyone's saying, thanks for the adjustments ioi! Nice to see an effort to make tracking more accurate.

And since you brought it up Michael-5, here's a thread I made almost a year ago regarding God of War 3's sales: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=144437 (Just updated it recently). And according to NPD it sold 1.1m in the US during its first 4 weeks vs. 1.04K Vgchartz estimated, not a huge difference until you consider bundled sales were tracked separately by NPD meaning it could have really been at 1.2m in total which would be a fairly significant difference.

I literally just brought up your post with Trunks in this thread since he replied to my post about adjustments to 3DS games in there, so you might want to bring it up there too.  In any case, hopefully he spots it and passes it on to ioi.

360 gained always the same amount as the PS3 in those graphical charts on the main site even if it got outsold by 50-100k each week for months.

Wow. After adjustments PS3 within 200k of 360 O_O

The last year or two the sales have been weird. Vgchartz definitely has been matching up to the official trackers but somehow when shipment numbers get released they waaay off.

Which is why i can understand the reluctance to just adjust willy nilly.

Great job guys! I just hope you keep a focus on this website and all of its features not just the sales figures :)

Thank goodness you've clarified and have notified us that the issue is being worked. Many people (including myself, to an extent) thought that the numbers were way out of line.

Hopefully tracking can continue on the road to success.
Question, though: When (if at all possible) do you think VGC will be able to track Downloaded games?

Yea, Polyphony Digital say 10.66 million on their website including digital sales.

How can GT5P sell 1 million digital copies, but GT5 sell only 250k? It makes no sense.
