I WANT 100% COMPLETION IN METROID GAMES

You're so OCD that you're compelled to do stuff you don't enjoy doing just to make it say 100%, and then you can complain about it on the internet?

I can make you a Metroid fangame where you have to hit yourself in the face 10,000 times to make it reach 100%.

are you trolling or you really didnt understand? I LIKE LOOKING FOR HIDDEN ITEMS IN METROID AND IT'S REWARDING GETTING A SECRET ENDING FOR REACHING 100%. I DON'T ENJOY SCANNING EVERYTHING IN ORDER TO GET 100%.

Then do the item collecting and not the scanning? And look up the secret ending on Youtube. You've just avoided hours of self-inflicted pain.

Retro Studio should work on a FPS , a battlefield like game, and forget that FPA thing.

How would this game stand out in a marketplace overflowing with AAA FPS games? Do you not think there are enough already?

On Nintendo console? Nope. A multi-player FPS oriented game like BF is what Nintendo lacks in my opinion.

by that logic, how about not playing my games and just watching them?

A secret ending is a pure video experience that you get 100% of by watching via video.

Playing a game can't be fully conveyed like that.

You have to admit that in Metroid Prime, scanning slow the pace of the game a lot. It's frankly boring to scan everything. It isn't fun.

Scanning is cool, you can show much richer background for the story with text than with videos

The slow pace is intended its an adventure after all, if you wanna play fast action games with Qte then go somewherelse

Depends on how much you do it. On the second playthrough, I just focus on scanning bits important to progress through the game and just masscre my way through things. You don't have to scan everything, but in a lot of ways it makes the game richer or certain puzzles or enemies easier.

Question about the scanning procedure:

Is there a possibility of not being able to complete the game fully because you didn't scan something at a particular time? I don't know if any predecessors had situations where you had one chance in the game to get eg. a missile pack, and if you forgot to do it, you've pretty much cost yourself 100% completion.

I always wondered this for things like boss scans. Does anyone have info on this?
